Is acne harmful?

Acne is something that everyone will inevitably develop during adolescence. It indicates that we are about to enter adulthood and is a symbol of adulthood. Acne often brings us a lot of troubles. Too many acne on the face are very ugly. So, do you really understand the harm of acne? Do you know how to properly treat acne on your face without leaving scars? Let us learn some relevant common sense together.

Comedones can manifest as open comedones and closed comedones. The typical skin lesions of closed comedones (also known as whiteheads) are skin-colored papules about 1 mm in size with no obvious hair follicle openings. Open comedones (also called blackheads) appear as dome-shaped papules with significantly enlarged follicular openings. Acne will further develop into various inflammatory skin lesions, manifesting as inflammatory papules, pustules, nodules and cysts. Inflammatory papules are red and vary in diameter from 1 to 5 mm; pustules are uniform in size and filled with white pus; nodules are larger than 5 mm in diameter and feel hard and painful to the touch; cysts are located deeper and are filled with a mixture of pus and blood. These lesions may also fuse to form large inflammatory plaques and sinus tracts. After the inflammatory skin lesions subside, pigmentation, persistent erythema, and depressed or hypertrophic scars are often left behind.

The red marks on the skin are called erythema. Because the inflammation of acne causes the blood vessels to dilate, temporary erythema is formed. It is not considered a scar and will gradually disappear within 4-6 months. Some acne will leave permanent marks, the most common of which is pits. When the inflammation damages the collagen in the dermis, it may leave pits due to skin collapse. It will not disappear with time and must be solved by external force. Acne has a great impact on people's lives. Recent studies have found that people with acne are more likely to experience the following: social disconnection, lack of self-esteem, low confidence, bad impressions, embarrassment, depression, anger, frustration, and higher unemployment rates.

So, how to effectively remove acne? Fill a large basin with hot water, hold your breath, place your face on the basin mouth, wrap it tightly with a wet towel, and steam your face. Repeat this several times and then wash your face with warm water. Do this 2 to 3 times a week to keep facial pores unobstructed. Results will generally be seen in two weeks. Cook mung bean powder into a paste and wash the affected area before going to bed at night. Apply this paste for 2 weeks and the acne will gradually disappear.

The above is the little tips I introduced to you about the dangers of acne and how to deal with acne correctly. I believe you have learned it. If you have acne on your face, pay attention to your diet, eat less spicy food, don't drink alcohol, eat more light food, wash your face with warm water every day, and keep a happy mood, and it will get better soon.
