We often come into contact with oily things in our daily life, and food tends to be quite oily. If you are not careful, oil stains may appear on clothes and other items. If you can't clean it right away, it will be difficult to clean the oil stains. In addition, if the area of the oil stain is large, it will be more difficult to clean. So is this method more effective in clearing oil stains? Let’s talk about it below. 1. Removal of animal and plant oil stains Animal and plant oil stains are common stains on clothing and are also a type of polar liquid stain. This type of stain should be removed by wiping or brushing with organic solvents such as solvent gasoline, tetrachloroethylene, etc. When scrubbing, use a towel or cotton cloth to absorb the stain solution wiped off in time to remove it from the surface of the clothes. Prevent some stains from remaining on the surface of clothes after the solution evaporates, which will leave marks on the surface of clothes. If marks appear, they can be removed by repeated wiping or brushing over a larger area. You can also apply water to the stained area of the clothes and spray it off with a high-pressure spray gun. 2. Removal of pine oil stains When moving pine wood, it is easy for clothes to get stuck with pine oil, which should be removed in time. Based on the principle that pine oil can be dissolved in alcohol, you can apply alcohol or a mixture of alcohol and turpentine to the stain. After the pine oil stain is softened and dissolved, wipe it with a wet towel to absorb it. If there are still traces, wipe them with gasoline again. If they are not completely wiped away in one go, repeat the process several times until they are clean. 3. If cooked oil stains your clothes, soak them in warm salt water and then rub them with soap and rinse them to remove the stains. 4. Apply a paste made of alcohol and chalk powder to the oil stains on the leather jacket. After the paste dries, carefully wipe it off. 5. If there are oil stains on silk clothes, you can mix talcum powder into a paste and apply it to the oil stain. After leaving it for a while, peel off the talcum powder, then put thin paper on the silk, and iron it flat with a not too hot electric iron. 6. Apply the superior oil evenly to the oily areas. After 3-5 minutes, wash normally. 7. If oil is accidentally dropped on clothes, keep the clothes dry before washing. Then drop some detergent on the oil spots and rub them a few times. There will be no oil stains after washing. The above methods for cleaning oil stains can all effectively clean oil stains. In normal times, we should also pay special attention to prevent oil stains on clothes and other items. This will avoid the problem of difficult cleaning. For some clothes made of special materials, special methods must be used to clean them effectively. |
