Tips for cleaning range hoods

Many people have no idea how to clean the range hood at home, because after all, there is a very thick layer of oil inside the range hood. If you use traditional methods to clean it, it cannot be cleaned at all. Therefore, many housewives are particularly distressed. If it is not cleaned, it is very likely to be breathed into their respiratory system, which may cause some diseases. It is best to think of some ways to clean your range hood. If you only use detergent to clean it, it will never be cleaned.

1. Take a plastic bottle (any beverage bottle that can be flattened by hand will do), use a sewing needle to poke more than 10 small holes on the lid, then add an appropriate amount of detergent, fill it with warm water and shake it evenly.

2. Start the range hood and use a plastic bottle filled with detergent to spray the cleaning liquid onto the area to be cleaned. At this time, you can see the oil and dirty water flowing into the oil storage bucket, pouring it out as it is full.

3. After the cleaning solution in the bottle is used up, continue to prepare it and repeat the cleaning. Continue until the dirty water becomes clear. Depending on the degree of dirt, it usually takes 3 rinses to clean it.

4. If there is a mesh cover on the fan blades, it is advisable to remove the mesh cover first to enhance the washing effect.

5. Use a rag to clean the area around the air inlet, the surface of the casing, the lampshade, etc. However, no matter how clean the kitchen is, there will always be one place that some people will overlook, and thus it becomes a small blind spot in your kitchen hygiene - the range hood box.

For daily cleaning, you can spray the oil cleaner on the impeller, turn on the switch and let it rotate for a few weeks, and the oil will dissolve by itself. There is a layer of oil-resistant coating on the surface of the range hood. When wiping, spray the detergent on the surface of the range hood, leave it for a few minutes, and then wipe it with a sponge-like scouring pad dipped in warm water. Do not use hard cleaning tools such as steel wool to avoid damaging the surface paint.

So you should master some tips when cleaning, so that you can clean your range hood very easily. Try to use detergent to clean it, but add water to the detergent and pour it into a plastic bottle, then pour it all on your range hood, and finally turn on the switch of the range hood. In this way, the oil stains can automatically flow to one place, so the cleaning effect is achieved.
