How to eat Cordyceps sinensis

There are many ways to eat Cordyceps sinensis. For example, you can choose 1 to 3 Cordyceps sinensis, put the Cordyceps sinensis in a thermos, then add boiled water at about 60℃ into the thermos, and then cover it with a lid. People who often sit in the office to work can make a cup of such Cordyceps sinensis tea. You can add more water after drinking it up, and you can drink the water when you get off work. If you drink it for a week, it can greatly improve your immunity and prevent colds.

Cordyceps stewed duck can treat sore waist and knees. 8 cordyceps, 8 peppercorns, an old male duck (1500 grams), scallion (sliced), ginger (sliced), salt, and cooking wine in appropriate amounts. Kill the duck, clean it, blanch it briefly in boiling water, take it out and wash it with cold water; then put the cleaned Cordyceps sinensis and Sichuan peppercorns into the duck's belly, put the duck in a casserole, pour in clean water, add appropriate amounts of salt, scallion, ginger, and cooking wine, boil it over high heat first, then simmer it over low heat for half a day.

Cordyceps can nourish the lungs and kidneys, and duck can nourish the lungs and replenish yin. Cordyceps stewed with duck can treat wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating, or kidney deficiency, impotence, and weakness in the waist and knees caused by deficiency of both lungs and kidneys.

Cordyceps, ginseng and deer antler wine can nourish the body and prolong life. It contains 10 grams of cordyceps, 50 grams each of deer antler and ginseng, and 5 jin of pure sorghum wine. Soak cordyceps, deer antler and ginseng in sorghum wine for three days and drink it at irregular intervals. Cordyceps can replenish deficiency, ginseng can replenish qi, and deer antler can strengthen the kidneys, so Cordyceps, ginseng and deer antler wine has the effect of longevity and health preservation, and is especially suitable for middle-aged and elderly people.

Cordyceps sinensis can also be used with wolfberry and jujube to make wine. Drinking this wine can help beautify and nourish the skin. When making it, you can choose 200 wolfberries, 5 dates, 10 cordyceps sinensis, and also two American ginsengs and 5 jin of pure sorghum wine. Put all these ingredients together in the sorghum wine and soak it. Generally, it can be consumed after soaking for about 3 days.
