How to wash ink stains on clothes

How to wash ink stains on clothes

If you accidentally get ink on your clothes, you should deal with it as soon as possible and don't wait until the ink dries before thinking about washing it. Once the ink has dried, it is extremely difficult to clean it thoroughly. Before the ink dries, you can add a large amount of high-efficiency laundry detergent when washing, and then rub it vigorously and repeatedly, which will have a better effect. If you are unable to clean it thoroughly yourself, you can take it to a dry cleaner.

Rinse the stain with clean water, allowing the force of the water flow to wash away as much of the stain as possible; knead the laundry detergent and rice into a paste, pre-apply it on the surface of the stain, rub it gently and repeatedly, and rinse off the stain that has been washed out; wash normally with laundry detergent. Note: Calligraphy ink stains are difficult to remove completely. Repeating the above steps can reduce the stains. If it is fountain pen ink, you can try the following method.

Rinse the stain with clean water and try to dilute it as much as possible; apply the original liquid laundry detergent to the stain to completely cover it, let it stand for 5 minutes (you can rub it gently), then add laundry detergent and wash it normally; if the stain cannot be removed by the above method, put the clothes in a basin with the stained area against the bottom of the basin, use the Blue Moon color bleach bottle cap to measure 1/4 bottle cap (10 grams) of color bleach and half a bottle cap (20 grams) of collar cleaner, pour them on the stain, cover the stain with other unstained parts of the clothes to prevent it from drying out, let it stand for 2 hours, and rinse it clean. If the stain is still there after 2 hours, add appropriate amount of water to wet the entire garment and leave it overnight.

First wash the clothes with clean water and then pour in sour milk and gently rub them. The ink on the clothes will be removed. It is economical and practical. 2. There are many ways to remove ink stains on clothes. First, rinse off the loose ink with cold water, then mix a solution of rice grains and detergent, apply it on the ink stain and rub it repeatedly. Then scrub repeatedly with a solution made of 1 part alcohol and 2 parts soap.

There is one thing you need to pay special attention to when cleaning ink. When it is soaked in water, the ink that has not dried up may spread, and eventually make the ink stain larger. So before cleaning, you must first use a paper towel to absorb the excess ink, and then wash it with water. Also note that if the ink is not cleaned thoroughly, you cannot directly use an electric iron to iron the ink stain, because ironing will also cause the ink stain to spread.
