There are often safety hazards in life, but when they happen to themselves, many people are at a loss and feel panicked. For example, gas poisoning is quite common in our daily life, especially in winter, when there are many incidents of suffocation due to lack of oxygen and carbon monoxide poisoning caused by improper use of gas water heaters. This requires us to understand some safety and first aid knowledge in our daily lives to avoid irreversible consequences. Now let me talk about the solution to poisoning. What to do if you have mild gas poisoning (1) Immediately open doors and windows, move the patient to a well-ventilated area with fresh air, and keep the patient warm. Find the cause of gas leakage and eliminate hidden dangers. (2) Loosen buttons, keep the airway open, and clear oral and nasal secretions. If respiratory arrest is detected, immediately perform mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration and external cardiac massage. (3) Immediately perform acupuncture treatment, using acupoints such as Taiyang, Lieque, Renzhong, Shaoshang, Shixuan, Hegu, Yongquan, and Zusanli. Patients with mild or moderate poisoning can gradually wake up after acupuncture. (4) Give oxygen immediately. If conditions permit, transfer the patient to a hospital hyperbaric oxygen chamber for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This is especially suitable for patients with moderate to severe gas poisoning. It can not only revive the patient but also reduce the sequelae. (5) Immediately intravenously inject 50 ml of 50% glucose solution plus 500-1000 mg of vitamin C. Mild and moderate patients can use it for 2 consecutive days, 1 to 2 times a day. It can not only replenish energy, but also has the effect of dehydration. Early application can prevent or reduce cerebral edema. (6) A comatose patient should be treated as a comatose patient. (7) Treatment after gas poisoning is corrected: ① Insist on going to the park or the balcony in the morning to do deep breathing exercises, chest expansion exercises, and Tai Chi for about 30 minutes every day. Mild and moderate poisoning patients should do morning exercises for 7 to 14 days in a row; severe poisoning patients can do it according to the sequelae. ② Continue to take Gold Vita, 1 to 2 pills per day, for 7 to 14 days, or 0.1 to 0.2 grams of vitamin C, 3 times a day. You can also take appropriate amounts of vitamin B1, B6, and vitamin B complex. In life, many people have suffered tragedies due to carelessness. Many people forget to turn off the gas after using it, so they unknowingly inhale excessive carbon monoxide in their sleep and die from poisoning. So before going to bed, be sure to turn off all electrical appliances that may produce carbon monoxide, and leave windows open for ventilation. |
