What causes constant bloating in the stomach?

There is always bloating in the stomach. Although it is not a serious disease, it is still very uncomfortable when it occurs. If you experience stomach bloating, doctors recommend that you can relieve it by drinking vinegar, porridge, hot compresses, and massaging your stomach. However, if you want to completely solve the problem of frequent stomach bloating, you still need to understand the cause of your stomach bloating. So what causes constant bloating in the stomach? Let’s interpret it together.

First of all, gastric bloating refers to a condition in which the patient feels that the stomach is bloated and has a distended appearance. It may be accompanied by clinical manifestations such as gastric pain, nausea, vomiting, and inability to eat. Its pathogenesis:

1. Obstruction of gas discharge in the gastrointestinal tract.

2. Gas absorption disorder in the gastrointestinal tract. Under normal circumstances, most of the gas in the abdominal cavity is absorbed by the blood vessels in the intestinal wall and exhaled out of the body through the lungs. In some diseases, blood circulation in the intestinal wall is impaired, affecting the absorption of gas in the intestinal cavity, thus causing abdominal bloating.

3. Inhalation of air. When eating, a large amount of air is inhaled due to talking or bad eating habits, which causes intestinal bloating. For some reasons, the intestinal peristalsis function is weakened or disappears, so the gas in the intestinal cavity cannot be discharged from the body, causing abdominal distension.

4. Food fermentation. Under normal circumstances, there are a large number of bacteria in the lower ileum and ascending colon. If the chyme stays in this section of the intestine for too long for some reason, the bacteria may cause the chyme to ferment, produce a large amount of gas, and cause abdominal distension.

There are many reasons that cause stomach bloating at present, so we introduce several common ones below to see if you are also causing your stomach bloating for these reasons.

1. Eating too fast. It will cause incomplete chewing, resulting in the digestive juice and food not being fully stirred and mixed, and thus not being fully digested and decomposed, causing damage to the intestines.

2. Eating too greasy food makes it difficult for the intestines to digest. A high-protein or high-fat diet can easily cause changes in intestinal flora, which is not conducive to the survival of beneficial bacteria. If you consume too much greasy food, the lipase and protease in the body will be overwhelmed and eventually exhausted.

3. Unhygienic diet. Some pathogens produce toxins in the intestines, causing gastrointestinal diseases such as acute gastroenteritis.

4. An irregular lifestyle and regular eating habits may cause the intestines to be too hungry or too full, leading to abnormal intestinal movements, which can overburden the gastrointestinal tract in the long run.

There are many reasons for causing stomach bloating. In addition to those introduced above, if you are under a lot of stress, have gastrointestinal diseases, or have bad eating habits, you will also experience stomach bloating. Secondly, people with rhinitis and nasal allergies are also most likely to have stomach bloating. So if we want to treat stomach bloating, we have to solve these causes.
