Acute adnexitis is an infectious inflammation of the fallopian tubes and ovaries, which usually occurs in women of childbearing age. Acute adnexitis has a great impact on women themselves, and it can also spread through the bloodstream, causing ovarian infection. Therefore, patients must do a good job of preventing acute adnexitis. Let us briefly understand the clinical manifestations of acute adnexitis. 1. Fever When the disease occurs, high fever appears, 39-40℃, and there may be chills or chills, followed by irregular remittent fever. If the inflammatory lesions are isolated due to adhesions, the body temperature can drop quickly. If the high fever drops for a while and then rises again, it indicates that the inflammation has spread or purulent lesions have occurred. The accelerated pulse rate is proportional to the body temperature. If the two are disproportionate, the inflammation may spread widely. 2. Abdominal pain At the beginning, the pain is limited to the lower abdomen, mostly bilateral, with little vomiting, which is different from the metastatic pain of appendicitis. In addition, the abdominal pain worsens during bowel movements, sometimes accompanied by urinary pain, and often with constipation, abdominal distension, and mucus in the stool, which is the result of inflammatory irritation of the colon wall. 3. General Acute illness, facial flushing, general condition is still good, pulse does not exceed 100 times/min. If the disease course is prolonged and purulent lesions are present, the general condition will deteriorate, weakness, pulse>100 times/min, sweating, and yellow complexion. 4. Physical signs There is significant tenderness in the lower abdomen, which is most obvious 1.5 to 2 cm above the midpoint of the inguinal ligament. In severe cases, the patient refuses to be pressed. The abdominal muscles are rigid and there is obvious rebound pain. Gynecological examination shows purulent secretions in the vagina and varying degrees of redness and swelling of the cervix. Bimanual examination shows severe cervical lifting pain. Due to the tense abdominal muscles, the pelvic condition is difficult to determine. In general, the uterus is relatively fixed and has severe tenderness. There is significant tenderness in the adnexal areas on both sides, and it is not easy to feel the adnexal masses. Through the above introduction, I believe that friends should have a detailed understanding of the manifestations of acute adnexitis. You must pay more attention to it in daily life, especially for women in their thirties, the incidence rate is relatively high. Patients must pay attention to genital hygiene at ordinary times. It is recommended to wash it once a day, which is also beneficial for the prevention of acute adnexitis. |
