There are seven kinds of poisons hidden in the human body

Just as domestic garbage needs to be cleaned up in a timely manner, waste produced in the human body cannot be allowed to accumulate. It is generally believed that substances harmful to the body produced by human metabolism can be called "poisons". Once toxins accumulate too much in the body, they will cause multiple system diseases such as respiratory, digestive, and urinary diseases. According to the different ways of excretion, we can roughly divide toxins into seven types: gas toxins, sweat toxins, stool toxins, urine toxins, lipid toxins, blood toxins and phlegm toxins, and formulate different detoxification plans for them.

Gas poison

Qi toxicity can be of "external" or "endogenous" origin. Foreign usually refers to the polluted air we breathe in. A person inhales more than 1,000 liters of air into the lungs every day, and many harmful substances such as bacteria, viruses, dust, etc. also enter the body. Endogenous refers to waste gases such as carbon dioxide produced by humans after normal breathing.

Typical symptoms: dizziness and bad breath odor.

The result of long-term accumulation: respiratory diseases such as cough, pneumonia, and even lung cancer.

Solution: Take big gulps of fresh air and exhale big gulps of foul air. This deep breathing method can cleanse the lungs. It can be done during exercise or facing a window indoors, and should be done at least once every morning and evening. For example, just after dawn, you can stand on the balcony, stretch your limbs and take deep breaths; if there are mountains and rivers around, you can go out in the morning and shout at the mountains or rivers to cleanse your lungs. It must be reminded that when taking deep breaths, you should choose an environment with fresh air and avoid haze and other air pollution. In addition, you can also eat more lung-nourishing foods, such as pears, lilies, etc.

Sweat poison

With the help of tiny sweat pores, the human body can excrete a lot of waste; on the contrary, if sweat cannot be discharged smoothly and accumulates in the body, it will become a poison.

Typical symptoms: Even if you don’t exercise and keep your body clean, you will still smell an unpleasant odor in your sweat.

The result of long-term accumulation: inducing joint pain, rheumatism, metabolic system diseases, etc.

Solution: You don’t need to sweat profusely every day, but it is necessary to maintain a certain amount of sweat. The preferred way to make yourself sweat is to exercise. Swimming, running, Tai Chi and Qigong are all very feasible ways of exercise. Drinking hot porridge, hot tea, and hot soup can also promote sweating. You can also eat some spicy food to help the body sweat. Foods such as coix seed have the effect of removing dampness and initiating sweating, so you can eat more of them appropriately. Another thing to remind you is that the hotter the weather, the easier it is to accumulate sweat toxins. You should pay special attention to ensuring the amount of sweating. In summer, you can wipe your body with a hot towel, take a hot bath, and drink ginger and brown sugar soup to help detoxify.

Stool retention

The book "Lun Heng" from the Han Dynasty wrote, "If you want to live long, your intestines should be clean; if you want to be immortal, your intestines should be free of impurities." This talks about the importance of keeping bowel movements smooth. Data shows that feces can excrete 50% of toxins from the human body.

Typical symptoms: bad breath, lumps, getting angry, etc.

The result of long-term accumulation: leading to intestinal system diseases such as enteritis and even colon cancer.

Solution: According to Chinese meridian theory, the large intestine meridian is on duty from 5 to 7 a.m. If you have a bowel movement at this time, the effect will be best and you can keep your brain refreshed throughout the day. The later the time, the more toxins accumulate. Therefore, it is recommended to drink a glass of water on an empty stomach every morning and develop the habit of having a bowel movement early in the morning. If you don't have a bowel movement at this time, you can massage the Tianshu point (located 1.5 inches on both sides of the navel). If you are constipated, eat more foods rich in crude fiber, such as oatmeal, whole wheat bread, etc. In addition, honey, bananas, apples, potatoes, etc. can relieve constipation. You can steam the potatoes until soft and then mash them into a paste, then eat them together with locust flower honey or vitex honey. Honey has the effect of clearing heat and promoting bowel movements, so it is a powerful combination.

Uremia

Most of the toxins in the human body need to be detoxified by the liver and the kidneys, so the kidneys are the most important detoxification organs in the human body. They can filter out toxins in the blood and excrete them through urine. The accumulation of urea may be caused by insufficient kidney function, drinking too little water, or excessive intake of toxins.

Typical symptoms: dizziness and difficulty urinating.

The result of long-term accumulation: urinary tract inflammation, gout, skin allergies, etc.

Solution: Drink a glass of water on an empty stomach between 17:00 and 19:00 before dinner. The kidney meridian is on duty at this time. Drinking a glass of water can help mobilize kidney qi, help clean the kidneys and bladder, and prevent urinary stones. You can also massage the Yongquan point (the depression in the front of the sole of the foot), Sanyinjiao point (3 inches above the inner ankle), and tap the Shenshu point (on the back, at the same level as the navel, 1.5 inches beside the spine). You should eat less food containing a lot of additives, ensure adequate daily drinking of water, and eat more vegetables and fruits.

Lipotoxicity

Eating too much meat and fish can easily lead to high blood lipids and weight gain. In traditional Chinese medicine, this symptom is usually considered to be caused by fat toxicity. Especially in autumn and winter, eating more and exercising less can easily lead to the accumulation of fat toxins.

Typical symptoms: dizziness and drowsiness.

The result of long-term accumulation: dyslipidemia.

Solution: The diet should be low in meat and oil. Hawthorn, black fungus, cucumber, cabbage, various whole grains, and most red fruits and vegetables are good foods for removing fat and toxins. For example, tomatoes, red watermelons, red radishes, etc. Drinking a glass of water an hour before bedtime can also help lower blood viscosity. To prevent hyperlipidemia, you can also drink 0.5-1 gram of Panax notoginseng mixed with water in the morning or at noon, which has the effect of health care.

Blood poison

If you eat too many different kinds of food and consume too many food additives, blood toxins will accumulate in your body, especially for people with poor liver detoxification function. In summer, people like to eat at street stalls, which makes them more likely to develop blood poisoning. Drinking too much alcohol causes the alcohol content in the blood to increase, which may cause ethanol poisoning, which also falls into the category of blood poisoning.

Typical symptoms: dizziness and nausea.

The result of long-term accumulation: easily induce cancer.

Solution: Drink green tea, or eat more grapes, watermelons, mung beans, etc. to help detoxify. You can also massage the Shaofu point (between the 4th and 5th metacarpal bones in the palm, between the tips of the ring finger and little finger when making a fist). In addition, be sure to control the amount of alcohol you drink, because although some foods have a certain effect in sobering up, they cannot remove the accumulation of toxins caused by alcohol.

Phlegm poison

Most people cough up one or two mouthfuls of phlegm after getting up in the morning, but some people keep coughing up phlegm all day long. This is a sign of phlegm accumulation, which may be related to improper diet or lung problems. Expelling phlegm and toxins is particularly important in autumn.

Typical symptoms: excessive and thick sputum.

The results of long-term accumulation: cough, shortness of breath, and epilepsy.

Solution: Eat more radish, lily, almond, white fungus, and pear (snow pear is best) to help moisturize and expel phlegm. In particular, white radish can replenish qi and resolve phlegm, and has a dual effect of both replenishing and smoothening the body. It is recommended to cut it into shreds, add vinegar and mix it cold, and eat a little every day. Drinking 3-10 grams of licorice in water can also have antitussive and expectorant effects.

In fact, all vegetables and fruits have a certain detoxification effect. You should make sure to eat 500 grams of vegetables and one or two kinds of fruits every day. Honey, soy milk, green tea, ginger and mung beans all have detoxifying effects. It is best to eat two or three of them every day. Among them, green tea is suitable for people with a hot constitution, ginger is suitable for people with a cold constitution, and mung beans can be boiled into soup, but it should not be cooked for too long. The soup should be green to have the best detoxification effect.
