What to do if teenagers have less hair

What to do if teenagers have less hair

Nowadays, people are under increasing pressure in life, especially teenagers. Parents place all their wishes on their children, and all kinds of honors and rights make children's study pressure increasingly greater. Due to excessive pressure, hair loss among teenagers is very common, which has caused many teenagers' hair to become less and less, and some even have sparse hair, which even affects their appearance.

Many teenagers worry about their thinning hair, but the more they worry, the more stressed they are, the more severe their hair loss becomes, and the thinner their hair becomes. This also makes parents anxious. Parents try their best to supplement their children with nutrition, but it doesn't work. So, what should teenagers do with thin hair?

There are two basic types of hair loss:

Permanent hair loss due to damaged hair follicles, and temporary hair loss due to short-term damage to hair follicles. Permanent hair loss is common male pattern baldness. In some European countries, the male baldness rate is as high as 40%.

The hair loss process of permanent hair loss (also known as male pattern baldness) occurs gradually. At the beginning, the hair edge on the forehead shrinks significantly, and the hair on the top of the head is sparse; then it gradually develops and finally develops to only a circle of sparse hair on the back and sides of the head. There are three main reasons for this: genetic factors, lack or imbalance of male hormones in the blood circulation; and being too fat. In addition, scars left by various skin diseases or skin injuries, congenital hair stunting, and severe damage to hair follicles caused by chemicals or physical reasons can all cause permanent hair loss.

Temporary hair loss is often caused by an illness with a high fever. However, X-rays, ingestion of metals (such as thallium, tin and arsenic) or drugs, malnutrition, certain inflammatory skin diseases, chronic wasting diseases, and endocrine disorders can also cause temporary hair loss.

There are two treatment options for male pattern baldness. The first is hair transplantation, which involves transplanting hair follicles from the scalp where hair still grows to where hair does not grow, i.e., from the back of the head to the front. The second method is topical application. It can effectively prevent continued hair loss caused by various reasons and promote hair regeneration in bald or sparse hair areas.

Shampooing and Conditioning

Clean hair is the basis of healthy hair, and the correct washing method is an important factor in hair care.

Dry hair secretes less sebum, so the shampooing cycle can be slightly longer, generally once every 7 to 10 days.

Oily hair secretes more sebum, so the shampooing cycle is slightly shorter, usually once every 3 to 5 days.

Normal hair has a moderate amount of sebum secretion and is usually washed once every 5 to 7 days.

For dry hair, choose mild and nourishing shampoo and hair care products; for oily hair, choose shampoo with slightly stronger cleansing power.

The above introduces the causes and solutions of hair loss in teenagers. Everyone has a basic understanding of it. We can use the above methods to cure the problem of thinning hair, make our hair grow again, make thin hair thick again, and give teenagers beautiful hair and a charming head shape.
