Why do people get autism

Autism is a common disorder that affects many children. Generally, before understanding the disease, you need to clearly know the cause of the symptoms, because only by knowing the cause can you treat it better. Different diseases can have a great impact on our lives. Only if the treatment is carried out in the right way can you benefit from it. Regardless of the type of condition, understanding the cause is the first step.

Children with autism are afraid to interact with the outside world, but this is precisely because of this that their condition becomes more and more serious. No matter what kind of disease it is, it is necessary to understand the cause of the disease so that it can be treated with the correct method. So why does autism occur?

The cause of autism, why do people get autism? This question you asked reflects the thoughts of many parents. Autism is the most common disease in children. There is currently no cure for autism. But there are some simple ways to help parents detect it early:

1. A few months after birth, the child cannot laugh or recognize the voices of his parents;

2. At one year old, the baby still cannot make any babbling sounds, does not make any communicative gestures, and has no desire to communicate with the outside world;

3. The main characteristics of autism are indifference to emotions, refusal to communicate, delayed language development, repetitive and stereotyped behaviors, etc.

The main causes of autism:

1. Genetic factors: The chance of the disease occurring in the siblings of the affected child is higher than in other people, and the rate of the disease occurring in monozygotic twins is even higher. 41% of the children had long Y chromosomes. Their fathers and brothers were also found to have long Y chromosomes, indicating that the disease is related to genetic factors.

2. Organic factors: Children with this disease are more likely to have a history of perinatal injuries than normal children, including premature birth, dystocia, asphyxia, and birth problems. The incidence of this disease is higher in those who have suffered from meningitis, encephalitis, and brain trauma after birth. In recent years, magnetic resonance imaging studies have found that children with this disease have an enlarged fourth ventricle, underdeveloped cerebellar vermis, and a significantly smaller brain stem.

3. Environmental factors: Some people believe that the lack of rich and appropriate stimulation in the early living environment and the lack of social behavior teaching are also important factors in the onset of the disease. Children who stay in a monotonous environment for a long time often use repetitive actions to stimulate themselves and have no interest in the external environment.

The above introduces the causes of autism. Some children have it due to genetic factors. Some are due to environmental factors. Living in a place far away from the outside world for a long time will cause children to suffer from such diseases. Some children also suffer from severe organic damage, which may also result in autism. Therefore, only by finding out the cause can we provide targeted treatment.
