Four small hand movements can refresh your mind and strengthen your brain

Hands are the best part of the body for daily brain exercise. Elderly people can prevent brain aging and reduce the incidence of dementia, cerebral infarction and stroke by doing hand exercises regularly. When you are at home, as long as your hands are free, you might as well do some small hand exercises.

Rotating thumb:

If you feel you lack energy, try rotating your thumb 360 degrees. When rotating, the tip of your thumb must draw as circular a shape as possible. It may feel uncomfortable at first, but after repeating it a few times, your thumb will rotate rhythmically and make you feel happy. Generally, you can rotate your thumb clockwise and counterclockwise for 1 to 2 minutes each.

Self-Handshake:

This is the simplest way to maintain health. Bring your left and right palms together and hold them alternately. The key is to consciously use the thumb of your right hand to grasp the hypothenar muscle of your left hand, and the thumb of your left hand to grasp the hypothenar muscle of your right hand. Hold your hands tightly for 3 seconds and then separate them. Hold the left and right hands tightly together 5 to 6 times.

Fingers crossed:

When you feel your brain is slow to respond and you can't concentrate, try crossing your fingers and twisting them together. After crossing one hand with the thumb on top for a while, switch to the other hand with the thumb on top. Then point your fingertips toward you and bring the inner sides of your wrists as close together as possible. Repeat several times.

Warm wind blower:

Many people use a hair dryer to dry their hair after washing it. If you use a hair dryer to stimulate your palms, you can achieve health benefits in just 3 to 4 minutes. Use a hair dryer to blow warm air towards your palms. When you feel a little hot, move the hair dryer away and then blow it closer to your palms. Repeat this 6 to 7 times so that the entire palm is stimulated by the warm air from the hair dryer.
