How to protect your eyes and prevent eye failure 6 eye protection tips

The aging of the human body starts from the eyes. Fine lines at the corners of the eyes, bags under the eyes, cloudy eyeballs... these are all manifestations of eye aging. How to protect your eyes? Overcoming some habits that are bad for your eyes and eating more nourishing fruits are all good for your eyes. Let's look at some ways to take care of your eyes.

1. Wash your face with cold water to prevent eye congestion

The eyes like coolness and are afraid of heat. When the heart fire or hepatitis is excessive, the eyes will develop eye stains, become dry, red, swollen and even congested. Washing your face frequently with running cool water can reduce eye diseases, protect eyesight, and enhance the eyes' resistance to disease.

This method is especially beneficial for people who often suffer from red eyes, dry eyes, blurred vision, trachoma and other diseases.

2. Food pairing

Drink more water to keep your skin hydrated. Fine lines, crow's feet, eye bags, dark circles, and puffy eyes are the most common problems around the eyes. These problems are sometimes caused by lack of water or poor circulation that causes water accumulation.

In addition, regularly eat some gelatinous substances, such as pig's trotters, chicken feet, etc. to maintain the elasticity of the skin.

3. Gaze into the distance

Choose a meadow or green tree 10 meters away: due to the shorter wavelength of green, the image is formed in front of the retina, which helps the eyes to relax and the ciliary muscles to reduce eye fatigue.

Don't squint or blink too often. Clear your mind, concentrate, and stare intently for 25 seconds to identify the outline of grass or leaves. Then place your left palm slightly higher than your eyes and about 30 cm in front of your eyes, and look at the palm lines one by one from beginning to end, for about 5 seconds.

After looking at the palm lines, stare at the grass or leaves in the distance for 25 seconds, and then look at the palm lines again.

Repeat 20 times in 10 minutes, three times a day. If your eyesight is severely impaired, you should increase the number of training sessions.

4. Biological maintenance method

Use carrot juice mixed with some olive oil to apply to the wrinkles around the eyes and corners of the eyes, or apply vitamin E oil to the above-mentioned areas before going to bed to enhance the skin's anti-aging ability and reduce or alleviate the formation and deepening of wrinkles.

5. Get enough sleep

Adjust your sleep schedule. If you get up at 7:30, it is recommended that you go to bed between 10:00-11:00 pm (and so on), so that you can get 8 hours of adequate sleep.

Remember not to stay up late often, as it not only affects your work and rest schedule, but is also bad for your body and skin.

Office workers can take a short nap at noon to relieve eye fatigue and improve work efficiency in the afternoon.

6. Diet and eye care for computer users

People who use computers often feel eyestrain and backaches. In order to prevent computer operators from suffering from occupational diseases, it is recommended to pay attention to a proper diet.

(1) Eat more high-protein foods.

Protein is the "soul" of human cells. You should eat more lean pork, beef, mutton, chicken, duck, fish and soy products. Computer operators, especially, should eat more bean products.

(2) Eat more foods high in vitamins.

It has the function of regulating nerves, etc. Vegetables high in vitamins include leeks, spinach, green garlic, enoki mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers and fruits.

These foods are one of the "energy sources" for the brain. Foods such as egg yolks, shrimp, walnuts, peanuts, oysters, squid, whitebait, and herring all contain high levels of phospholipids.

(4) Eat more eye-healthy foods.

To protect eye health and prevent myopia and other eye diseases, foods that are good for the eyes include milk, goat's milk, cream, millet, walnuts, carrots, spinach, cabbage, tomatoes, day lily, water spinach, wolfberry and various fresh fruits.

In addition, chrysanthemum tea and persimmon leaf tea can improve eyesight and prevent fine lines around the eyes. Chrysanthemum tea can also absorb the radiation from fluorescent screens. People who often face computers can reduce the damage to their eyes by drinking these two kinds of tea every day.
