2. Lack of calcium and chromium in the diet can induce myopia; a high-sugar diet can also cause the eye axis to lengthen. Therefore, it is recommended to eat more coarse rice and whole grains, eat less sweets, reduce fat intake (which can cause calcium deficiency), and reduce the excretion of chromium, which will help prevent myopia. --Control the time you use your eyes: rest your eyes after reading or writing for 60 minutes. It is best to look at green plants in the distance for 10 minutes. Watch TV or use the computer for no more than one hour a day.

--Keep a good distance for your eyes: when reading or writing, keep it one foot, one inch, or one palm away, and sit upright; watch TV from two meters away, and the computer screen should be lower than your eyes.

--Do eye exercises twice a day.

--You should improve the nutrition of your eyes and eat as many vegetables and fruits as possible.

The "Four Don'ts" are:

--Do not read or write in dim or insufficient light.

--Do not read or write in direct sunlight.

--Don't read while lying down, walking or riding in a car.

--Do not watch TV or use the computer for a long time.
