Humidifier principle

Humidifier principle

Humidifiers are more common in some dry places because dry air can cause certain damage to human skin. If you are in dry air, you will feel very uncomfortable. When using a humidifier, you should first understand the principle of the humidifier and know how the humidifier works. This way you can better understand the usage of the humidifier and it will be of some help to you.

When using a humidifier, you must pay attention to controlling the humidity in the air. If the humidity is too high, some arthritis patients are prone to attacks, so it is also very important to know how to use a humidifier. The prerequisite for knowing how to use it is to understand the principles of the humidifier.

At present, household humidifiers on the market generally use ultrasonic waves to atomize water, and blow the atomized water vapor out of the shell through a fan, so as to achieve the effect of humidifying the air. The electrical schematic diagram is shown in the attached figure. After the AC power passes through the switching power supply, it outputs two voltages of 36V and 12V. The water vapor atomization module is powered by 36V and the fan is powered by 12V. In the circuit, D1 and D2 are the water shortage indicator light and the working indicator light respectively; the reed switch is the liquid level detection switch; and RT1 is the fog size adjustment potentiometer.

The ultrasonic humidifier uses ultrasonic high-frequency oscillation at a frequency of 1.7MHZ to atomize water into ultra-fine particles of 1-5 microns. Through a pneumatic device, the water mist is diffused into the air, making the air moist and accompanied by rich negative oxygen ions, which can refresh the air, improve health and create a comfortable environment.

Direct evaporative humidifiers are also commonly referred to as pure humidifiers. Pure humidification technology is a new technology that has just been adopted in the humidification field. The pure humidifier uses molecular sieve evaporation technology to remove calcium and magnesium ions in water, completely solving the "white powder" problem.

Thermal evaporative humidifiers are also called electric humidifiers. Its working principle is to heat water to 100 degrees in the heating body to generate steam, and use a fan to send the steam out. Therefore, the electric heating humidifier is the simplest humidification method with the simplest technology. Its disadvantages are high energy consumption, inability to dry burn, low safety factor, and easy scaling on the heater. The market outlook is not optimistic. Electric humidifiers are generally used in conjunction with central air conditioners and are not usually used alone.

Compared with the above three, the electric heating humidifier has no "white powder" phenomenon during use and has low noise, but consumes a lot of electricity and is prone to scaling on the humidifier; the pure humidifier has no "white powder" phenomenon and does not scale, has low power consumption, has an air circulation system, can filter the air and kill bacteria.

The ultrasonic humidifier has high and uniform humidification intensity, low power consumption, long service life, and has functions such as medical atomization, cold compress bath, and jewelry cleaning. Therefore, ultrasonic humidifiers and pure humidifiers are still the recommended preferred products.

The above is an introduction to the principles of humidifiers. I believe that after reading it, you will have a better understanding of the use of humidifiers. Knowing how to use a humidifier is very helpful to you. If you don’t know how to use it, the air will be too thick, causing bacteria in the air to multiply and making you prone to disease.
