Soybean oil has a good fatty acid composition. It is rich in linoleic acid, which can significantly lower serum cholesterol levels and prevent cardiovascular diseases. Soybeans also contain a large amount of vitamin E, vitamin D and rich lecithin, which are very beneficial to human health. In addition, the human body digestion and absorption rate of soybean oil is as high as 98%, so soybean oil is also an excellent edible oil with high nutritional value.

Composition of oils and fats:

The main components of oils and fats are esters formed by higher fatty acids and glycerol.

It's called triglycerides. The hydrocarbon radicals may be saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radicals, and they may be the same or different. If the hydrocarbon groups are the same, such oils are called monoglycerides. If the hydrocarbon groups are different, they are called mixed glycerides. Most natural oils and fats are mixed glycerides.

The degree of saturation of the fatty acids that form oils and fats has an important influence on the melting point of the oils and fats. Glycerides produced from saturated palmitic acid or stearic acid have a high melting point and are solid at room temperature. Animal oils such as mutton fat, beef tallow, etc.; the glycerides produced by unsaturated oleic acid have a low melting point and are liquid at room temperature. First of all, vegetable oils are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, which are essential fatty acids for the human body because our body itself cannot synthesize this ingredient. Unsaturated "essential" fatty acids can be divided into two groups based on their chemical structure and the role they play in the body:

▲Linoleic acid: can accelerate the metabolism of skin cells, enhance immunity, help blood coagulation regeneration, and lower cholesterol.

▲α-linoleic acid: It plays a very important role in the visual system and nervous system, and can lower the level of triglycerides in the blood, thereby reducing atherosclerosis and thrombosis. Therefore, unsaturated fatty acids have the effect of preventing cardiovascular diseases. Secondly, vegetable oil is the best source of vitamin E. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin with antioxidant properties. It can devour free radicals that cause aging of the body. Plant fats are rich in vitamin E.

Main uses: 1. Edible vegetable oils and fats: The oil content needs to be guaranteed in human diet. If the human body does not consume enough oil for a long time and lacks fat in the body for a long time, it will suffer from malnutrition, poor physical strength, weight loss, and even loss of ability to work. Edible vegetable oils and fats are important supplementary foods for humans. They are mainly used in cooking, pastries, canned foods, etc. They can also be processed into vegetable oil, margarine, baking oil, etc. for people to eat.

2. Industrial vegetable oils and fats: They are widely used and are the main raw materials for industrial products such as soap, paint, ink, rubber, leather, textiles, candles, lubricants, synthetic resins, cosmetics and medicines.

3. Vegetable oils and fats are one of the important commodities in the international market. With my country's reform and opening up and the development of the national economy, the variety and quantity of imported and exported vegetable oils and fats are increasing year by year. Exported vegetable oils include soybean oil, peanut oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil, castor oil, etc., which are mainly exported to Japan, North Korea, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Russia and other countries. Imported vegetable oils include soybean oil, rapeseed oil, coconut oil, palm oil, linseed oil, castor oil, etc., mainly from the United States, Brazil, the Netherlands, the Philippines, India, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries.
