But the most commonly used are ventriculoatrial shunt and ventriculoperitoneal shunt.

Can congenital hydrocephalus be cured? Experts say that drug treatment can only temporarily alleviate the symptoms of the disease and cannot cure the disease from the root. Surgical treatment also has certain risks. The chance of postoperative infection is relatively high and the failure rate of surgery is relatively high.
