Chronic gastritis is not unfamiliar to everyone. It is a common disease in our daily life. Most people suffer from chronic gastritis and often experience stomach pain, which affects their life and work. So what are the methods for treating chronic gastritis? We know that there are many causes of chronic gastritis, so during the treatment process we must also target the causes in order to achieve good results. Some chronic gastritis is caused by Helicobacter pylori, while general chronic gastritis is caused by abnormal eating habits and consumption of foods such as tobacco and alcohol that irritate the gastric mucosa. Therefore, chronic gastritis must be treated based on these causes. Let’s take a closer look. There is no specific treatment for chronic gastritis, and it is generally recommended that those without symptoms do not need treatment. If you have symptoms, you can refer to the following methods for treatment: 1. Avoid factors that cause acute gastritis, such as quitting smoking and drinking and avoiding taking foods and drugs that are irritating to the stomach, such as NSAIDs. 2. The principles of dietary treatment are similar to those for ulcer disease, which is to eat small meals frequently, mainly soft food, and avoid raw, cold and irritating foods. More importantly, a set of recipes suitable for the patient should be summarized based on the patient's eating habits and years of experience. 3. Drug treatment of Hp-related gastritis requires treatment to eradicate Hp. There is no specific treatment for other chronic gastritis, and most of them cannot reverse gastritis, so the treatment is mainly symptomatic. Most cases of chronic gastritis are characterized by low or no stomach acid, but there is no special treatment for it. Appropriate amounts of dilute hydrochloric acid and pepsin can be given. Such as 1% hydrochloric acid 10ml, orally, 3 times/day, pepsin mixture 10ml, orally, 3 times/day. However, the daily secretion of gastric juice reaches 1.5 to 2.5 L, and 30 ml of 1% hydrochloric acid cannot change the pH of gastric juice at all. Some patients also feel stomach discomfort after taking hydrochloric acid, which may be caused by mucosal erosion and hydrochloric acid irritation. There are reports that cimetidine (cimetidine) is effective in treating chronic gastritis. Medication is only one aspect of treating chronic gastritis. In fact, daily maintenance is the most important thing. Develop good eating habits. People with chronic gastritis should not eat spicy food, and should stay away from tobacco and alcohol. Next is to eat on time and not overeat. Eat foods that are protective of the gastric mucosa so that chronic gastritis will not occur. |
