What are the symptoms of liver cancer

Various types of cancer appear before us, and it seems that if we are a little careless, we may get cancer.

Early liver cancer usually has no obvious positive or only resembles cirrhosis. Middle and late stage liver cancer often presents symptoms such as liver enlargement, jaundice, and ascites. Patients with cirrhosis often have liver palms, spider nevi, male breast enlargement, lower limb edema, etc. When extrahepatic metastasis occurs, corresponding physical signs may appear in each metastatic site. Common ones include upper gastrointestinal bleeding, liver cancer rupture bleeding, liver and kidney failure, etc. The clinical manifestations of primary tumors are mainly seen in patients with no history of liver disease. Liver metastasis is still in the early stage and there are no corresponding symptoms. The symptoms of primary tumors are obvious in the middle and late stages. Secondary liver cancer is mainly found in the examination and follow-up of primary treatment. Patients with secondary liver cancer mainly complain of stuffiness, discomfort or dull pain in the upper abdomen or liver area. As the disease progresses, patients experience fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss or fever. During physical examination, an enlarged liver in the middle and upper abdomen, or hard nodules with hard texture and tenderness can be touched. Late stage patients may have anemia, jaundice, ascites, etc. The clinical manifestations of this type of patients are similar to those of primary liver cancer, but generally develop relatively slowly and are relatively mild. They often suspect the possibility of metastasis when undergoing various liver examinations, and further examination or discovery of primary tumors during surgery.

Some patients cannot find the primary cancer after multiple examinations. There are both primary tumors and clinical manifestations of secondary liver cancer, mainly in the early stages of primary tumors and liver metastasis. In addition to the symptoms and signs of liver similar to primary liver cancer, patients also have clinical manifestations caused by primary tumors, such as liver metastasis of colorectal cancer, which may be accompanied by changes in bowel habits, stool characteristics and blood in the stool. Usually, you should pay more attention to rest and don't stay up late. In terms of daily diet, patients should pay attention to the nutritional value of food. You can eat more fruits, raspberries, apples, bananas, red dates, and kiwis to fully replenish your body's energy.
