If these examinations reveal distant metastasis or local lymph node metastasis, and the patient is not suitable for surgery, then chemotherapy, radiotherapy or targeted therapy can be used as a comprehensive treatment. However, because gastroscopy is not very popular and the willingness to receive treatment or examination is not very strong, the detection rate of early gastric cancer is low and the treatment effect is poor. Gastroscopy is the best way to detect early gastric cancer.

Does stomach cancer cause lower abdominal pain?

Some patients may experience abdominal pain after gastric cancer surgery. Different treatment methods are used according to the different causes of the pain: Postoperative pain is caused by gastrointestinal spasm due to surgical damage, and can be treated with antispasmodic and analgesic drugs such as scopolamine.
