The so-called early stage of cervical cancer means that the tumor cells are confined to the cervix without metastasis to any other place. Generally speaking, early stage cervical cancer can usually be treated by laparotomy to remove the uterus and appendages, clear the pelvic lymph nodes, and perform corresponding radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery. About 90% of women can be completely cured.

What are the symptoms of cervical precancerous lesions?

HPV and TCT examinations can be performed. If both are abnormal, further colposcopy is required. Under direct vision of the colposcope, the location of cervical lesions can be understood, and a biopsy can be performed. After a clear diagnosis, specific treatment can be given. If it is a precancerous lesion of cervical cancer, a cervical conization surgery is required first.

Cervical cancer is the only gynecological malignancy with a clear etiology.
