HDL-C can be generally understood as "good" cholesterol because it is transferred from cell tissue blood vessels to the liver to be metabolized, reducing the risk of atherosclerosis.

Elevated apolipoprotein Apo-B is a risk factor for atherosclerotic coronary heart disease.

Special note: Due to differences in instruments, reagents, and methodologies among laboratories, the reference values ​​are also different. The results of each test report shall be based on the reference values ​​noted on the report.

In general, it is advisable for each indicator not to exceed the upper limit. The higher the upper limit, the greater the risk.
