How does Western medicine treat ruptured bleeding caused by liver cancer

How does Western medicine treat ruptured hemorrhage caused by liver cancer?

Surgery

1. Hepatectomy: It can effectively and thoroughly stop bleeding, remove tumor lesions, achieve radical cure, clean the abdominal cavity, and reduce the chance of implantation. It is suitable for single tumors or tumors confined to one lobe, mild liver cirrhosis, and liver function grade Child-Pugh A or B. Try to use irregular hemihepatectomy, lobectomy, or even local palliative tumor resection. If multiple liver cancers are found during surgery, only the bleeding liver cancer will be treated, and other unruptured liver cancers will not be treated for the time being. Comprehensive treatment will be reserved after surgery.

2. Hepatic artery ligation: It has good hemostatic effect and is suitable for patients with frequent lesions, difficult tumor resection, and severe bleeding. However, it is easy to cause liver failure after surgery, especially patients with preoperative shock should be more cautious. Liver damage can be reduced by selecting the hepatic artery branch of the liver lobe where the tumor is located.

3 Liver suturing and filling hemostasis: Mainly used for tumors that cannot be removed, difficult to remove, or patients who are not suitable for liver resection. Commonly used gelatin sponge and greater omentum are used as filling or covering materials. This method is simple and causes little damage, but the prognosis is poor. Further comprehensive treatment is required after surgery, and combined Chinese and Mongolian medicine can be continued.

Nonsurgical treatment

Emergency treatment. For patients with small amount of bleeding, lie down to rest, limit activities, and apply pressure bandage with abdominal bandage. For patients with large amount of bleeding, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, heart rate and mental state should be closely monitored in time, and anti-shock treatment should be carried out.
