Ovarian cancer is mainly diagnosed through four examination methods: B-ultrasound, color Doppler ultrasound, tumor markers, and posterior fornix puncture ascites exfoliated cell examination. Each examination method requires active cooperation from the patient. Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumor with many causes, so prevention should be strengthened in daily life.

The first examination is B-ultrasound examination. B-ultrasound is one of the methods for clinical examination of diseases. It is very important for patients with ovarian cancer to undergo B-ultrasound examination, especially vaginal B-ultrasound, which can improve the diagnostic positive rate relatively high and determine the nature of the tumor, such as cystic or solid, single or multiple, whether the cyst has papillary objects, etc.

The second examination is a color Doppler ultrasound examination, which can determine the blood flow of tumor tissue. Through this examination, we can observe and analyze in time, not only to find ovarian tumors, but also to infer whether the tumor is benign or malignant.

The third test is a tumor marker test, which is often used to detect ovarian epithelial cancer. More than 80% of patients will have higher than normal values when they are tested, which is also one of the test indicators after ovarian cancer treatment.

The fourth examination is the posterior fornix puncture ascites exfoliated cytology examination. This examination is a commonly used clinical method and also a minimally invasive examination method. First, the vagina is enlarged with a vaginal dilator to expose the posterior fornix of the vagina, and then the ascites is punctured into the pelvic cavity, uterus, and rectal pits with a lumbar puncture needle, and then the ascites exfoliated cytology examination is performed.
