Early symptoms and precursors of liver cancer

Early symptoms and precursors of liver cancer

The early symptoms and precursors of liver cancer mainly include gastrointestinal symptoms, pain in the liver area, fever and chills, weight loss, and other symptoms.

1. Gastrointestinal symptoms: Patients in the early stage may have gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, loss of appetite, upper abdominal fullness and diarrhea, which are usually caused by pathological changes in the liver leading to increased venous system pressure and gastrointestinal dysfunction.

2. Pain in the liver area: This is also a common symptom of early liver cancer. The pain is mainly located in the right rib or under the xiphoid process. At the beginning, it is intermittent or continuous dull pain or stabbing pain. The pain may be mild or severe at times, and is often more obvious at night.

3. Fever and chills: Patients may also experience symptoms of fever and chills due to the release of pyrogens into the blood circulation after tumor tissue necrosis.

4. Weight loss: Liver cancer patients may experience significant weight loss in a short period of time due to gastrointestinal discomfort.

5. Other symptoms: Some patients may experience bleeding gums, nose bleeding, general fatigue, jaundice, dry mouth, and a lump in the right upper abdomen.

When patients experience the above symptoms, they should go to a regular hospital as soon as possible, cooperate with the doctor to find out the cause, and then receive treatment.

Note: The early symptoms of liver cancer are not typical. It is recommended that high-risk groups have regular physical examinations. You should relax your mind and avoid anxiety and tension. You can exercise more to enhance your physical fitness and disease resistance.
