In the early stages of rectal cancer, the stool is generally loose in shape. Some patients may also have blood in the stool, increased frequency of bowel movements, and symptoms such as anal swelling. Some patients may also experience nausea or vomiting, and their bodies may become weak and gradually become thinner.

Rectal cancer is caused by genetics, or it may be caused by long-term bad eating habits, such as eating spicy food frequently, or overeating, smoking and drinking frequently. Eating pickled foods frequently, such as pickles, may cause rectal cancer.
