What are the signs of cervical cancer

What are the signs of cervical cancer

Precursors of cervical cancer include abdominal pain, contact bleeding, abnormal vaginal discharge, cervical erosion and other symptoms.

1. Abdominal pain: It often manifests as pain in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral area, which may worsen during menstruation.

2. Contact bleeding: It usually occurs after sexual intercourse or excessive force during defecation. The amount of bleeding varies depending on the size of the lesion and the invasion of blood vessels.

3. Abnormal vaginal discharge: Patients may find an increase in vaginal discharge, accompanied by changes in color and odor.

4. Cervical erosion: Especially cervical erosion that does not heal for a long time or occurs after menopause should be taken seriously.

5. Other symptoms: such as menstrual disorders, endocrine disorders, urinary urgency, and lower limb swelling. Although these symptoms do not necessarily refer to cervical cancer, once they occur, you should seek medical attention in time to eliminate potential risks.

Cervical cancer may not have obvious symptoms in its early stages, so regular gynecological examinations are essential. HPV testing and cervical cytology are effective means of preventing and early detection of cervical cancer. At the same time, maintaining good living habits, limiting the number of sexual partners, and getting HPV vaccines are also important measures to prevent cervical cancer.
