Dietary precautions for patients with osteosarcoma

Osteosarcoma is relatively rare in clinical practice. Therefore, relatively few people know about it. However, it is not unfamiliar to osteosarcoma patients, because they all know the pain caused by osteosarcoma. The general age range of osteosarcoma is between 10 and 25 years old, and the incidence rate in men is higher than that in women. Osteosarcoma is highly malignant and has a very poor prognosis. It can metastasize to the lungs within a few months, and the survival rate is only 5% to 20% 3 to 5 years after amputation. About three-quarters of all osteosarcomas occur in the lower end of the femur and the upper end of the tibia, and can also occur in other places such as the humerus, upper end of the femur, fibula, spine, ilium, etc.

Like many tumors, osteosarcoma patients also have some dietary precautions, which are introduced below one by one.
