How long can one live with osteosarcoma

Osteosarcoma is the most common type of bone tumor. The survival time of patients can range from 1 year to more than ten years. This is because osteosarcoma is divided into many types. Different types and different degrees of malignancy will have completely different survival times. The choice of treatment method also determines the survival time of osteosarcoma patients. Most osteosarcomas are relatively malignant. Even if the tumor is completely removed, or even amputated, and a sufficient course of chemotherapy is performed, the patient's 5-year survival rate may be less than 50%. At present, with the advancement of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and combined surgical treatment, as well as the rapid development of early diagnosis and chemotherapy in recent years, the survival rate of osteosarcoma has been significantly improved. The 5-year survival rate has now reached more than 50%, and some patients have even lived for 10 or 20 years. Therefore, the survival of osteosarcoma has been greatly improved, and the quality of life has also been greatly improved. Osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor of the bone. There are currently two main treatment methods for osteosarcoma.

Early symptoms of liposarcoma

Only when the tumor grows larger can it appear as a local mass. The mass is generally soft and has good mobility. Most lesions grow slowly. If this situation does not cause much impact on the body and does not affect personal appearance, most of them do not need treatment. Regular color Doppler ultrasound examinations are required. When the body is too obese, some tissues and organs in the body will be compressed by fat, and in this case, surgery is not suitable. Liposarcoma is a malignant tumor with a low incidence rate.
