With the advancement of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and combined surgical treatment, as well as the rapid development of early diagnosis and chemotherapy in recent years, the survival rate of osteosarcoma has been significantly improved. The 5-year survival rate has now reached over 50%, and some patients have even lived for 10 or 20 years. Therefore, the survival rate of osteosarcoma has been greatly improved, and the quality of life has also been greatly improved. Liposarcoma symptoms Liposarcoma is the most common malignant tumor in soft tissue. It is a malignant tumor formed by the differentiation of immature mesenchymal cells around breast blood vessels into fat cells. It is generally called breast liposarcoma. Liposarcoma can be single or multiple. It is located under the skin of the breast, not adhered to the skin, and the epidermis can be completely normal. The tumor varies in size. It is oval or lobed in hand diagnosis, with clear boundaries and very good mobility. Most of them are painless. When the tumor grows to a certain extent, it can squeeze and infiltrate the surrounding tissues, and there may be mild tenderness at this time. If the tumor grows rapidly, the local skin may change color and there may be varicose veins in the breast. There is no special difficulty in diagnosing this disease. There are no special clinical symptoms in the early stage. It only manifests as a painless mass with a soft texture and clear boundaries. It is often confused with breast lipoma. The final diagnosis still requires pathological diagnosis of surgical resection to clarify the symptoms of breast liposarcoma. Treatment of osteosarcoma The diagnosis of osteosarcoma is based on physical examination, laboratory tests and clinical manifestations. Generally, pain will occur, and a biopsy is required to determine the type of disease. Osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor that needs to be treated by surgical resection. Chemotherapy is also required after surgery to help the disease gradually recover. If it is not treated in time, metastasis will occur. Osteosarcoma often occurs in children or adolescents under the age of 20. |
