Does brain cancer cause eye socket pain in late stage?

Does brain cancer cause eye socket pain in late stage?

Late stage of intracranial malignant tumors often cause severe symptoms such as increased intracranial pressure, headache, nausea, vomiting, orbital pain, impaired consciousness and even coma. Timely treatment to reduce intracranial pressure or targeted therapy should be used to relieve the patient's pain. Pain in the back of the head connected to the orbit is not necessarily a malignant tumor in the brain. It is mainly based on the time when the patient's pain occurs, the duration and the degree of pain. A CT or MRI examination of the brain is performed to exclude the possibility of intracranial space-occupying lesions, and the corresponding examination results are combined for identification and judgment. Generally, it does not cause eye pain, but if the brain tumor grows too fast, it will cause a state of intracranial hypertension.

How long does meningioma surgery take?

For some relatively large and difficult meningiomas in the skull base and ventricles, the operation may even take up to ten hours. There are no obvious sequelae after meningioma surgery, and patients can be discharged from the hospital in ten to fourteen days. Patients with mild limb movement disorders, repeated dizziness, nausea and vomiting should undergo functional rehabilitation exercises in time, and they can return to normal in about three to six months. If the tumor grows at the skull base, and the tumor is particularly large, and is very tightly adhered to the surrounding blood vessels and nerves, or is surrounded, then the operation may take a long time, and may take seven or eight hours or even longer. Meningioma is a tumor that originates from the arachnoid cap cells.

Is chemotherapy necessary for advanced brain cancer?

Malignant tumors in the brain often recur after surgery. If they are in the late stage, surgery can be used for treatment. If they cannot tolerate surgery, they can be treated with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other methods, but most of them have a poor prognosis. From the brain tumor you described, it should be determined according to the nature of the tumor. Brain cancer is divided into primary intracranial malignant tumors and secondary intracranial malignant tumors.
