What are the early symptoms of lymphoma

Lymphoma, also known as lymphoma, is a malignant tumor that occurs in the lymphatic hematopoietic system. Its early symptoms vary, and common symptoms include swollen lymph nodes, systemic symptoms, digestive system symptoms, skin itching, anemia, etc.

1. Swollen lymph nodes: This is the most typical and common symptom of early lymphoma. Swollen lymph nodes are usually painless, hard and firm, and can be moved.

2. Systemic symptoms: Patients with early lymphoma may experience fever for no apparent reason, which is usually related to the inflammatory response when the lymphatic tissue is affected by the tumor. The fever may be continuous or intermittent. Patients are prone to night sweats at night or after a nap, that is, sweating after falling asleep. Patients may experience weight loss for no apparent reason in a short period of time, which may be caused by factors such as the tumor's consumption of energy and nutrition, and loss of appetite. As cancer cells invade the body, patients may feel persistent fatigue and weakness, and may not fully recover even after resting.

3. Digestive system symptoms: Lymphoma may affect the patient's digestive system, leading to symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation. In severe cases, symptoms of intestinal obstruction may also occur.

4. Skin itching: Cancer cells may stimulate local tissues and nerves, causing patients to experience skin itching and tingling. This itching may be systemic or local.

5. Anemia: When the bone marrow of lymphoma patients is invaded, they may not be able to produce blood normally, resulting in a decrease in red blood cells. In addition, due to the patient's loss of appetite and insufficient nutrient intake, anemia may occur.

Early diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma are crucial to improving the patient's survival rate and quality of life. Regular physical examinations are recommended to detect and treat potential diseases in a timely manner. At the same time, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and eating habits can also help reduce the risk of disease.
