Something growing on the pancreas is not necessarily pancreatic cancer. It may also be pancreatitis with a mass in the head of the pancreas, a pancreatic cystic tumor, a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor, a pancreatic solid pseudopapillary tumor, etc. We cannot simply judge whether it is pancreatic cancer based on something growing on the pancreas.
