What are the symptoms of early bleeding in cervical cancer

Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that seriously threatens women's health. However, if it can be detected and treated in time in the early stages, it can often achieve a better prognosis. Its symptoms include contact bleeding, irregular bleeding, postmenopausal bleeding, blood in leucorrhea, and gradually increasing bleeding. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Contact bleeding: This is one of the most common bleeding symptoms of early cervical cancer. Usually, a small amount of vaginal bleeding occurs after sexual intercourse, gynecological examination, or forceful defecation. This is because the cancerous cervical tissue is relatively fragile and easily damaged and bleeds when stimulated by external forces. This type of bleeding is generally small in amount and may be light red or bright red in color. Sometimes it may be mistaken for irregular menstruation or other minor gynecological problems and ignored.

2. Irregular vaginal bleeding: Some patients will experience irregular vaginal bleeding in the early stages of cervical cancer. Unlike normal menstrual cycles, this type of bleeding has no regular pattern. Spot bleeding may occur during non-menstrual periods, or the amount of bleeding may vary. Some patients may mistake it for menstrual disorders, but as the disease progresses, the frequency and amount of bleeding may gradually increase.

3. Postmenopausal bleeding: For women who have already gone through menopause, if vaginal bleeding occurs, they should be highly alert to the possibility of cervical cancer. After menopause, due to the decline of ovarian function, the endometrium no longer sheds periodically, and vaginal bleeding generally does not occur. If bleeding occurs, it is often caused by cervical lesions or other serious problems.

4. Blood in leucorrhea: In addition to obvious vaginal bleeding, cervical cancer may also manifest as blood in leucorrhea in the early stage. Normal leucorrhea is colorless, transparent or white. When cervical cancer occurs, leucorrhea may become abnormal, such as increasing, thickening, having a strange smell, and may be mixed with blood. This situation is easily mistaken for ordinary gynecological inflammation, but if it persists, further examination should be carried out in time.

5. The amount of bleeding gradually increases: In the early stages of cervical cancer, the bleeding symptoms may be mild, but as the disease progresses, the amount of bleeding may gradually increase. If not treated in time, heavy bleeding may occur in the later stages, and even lead to serious consequences such as anemia. Once abnormal bleeding is found, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible for detailed examination and diagnosis.

Early bleeding from cervical cancer is an important warning sign. Female friends should pay close attention to changes in their bodies. Once abnormal bleeding is found, do not take it lightly. Timely medical treatment for professional examination and diagnosis, early detection of cervical cancer and taking effective treatment measures are crucial to improving cure and survival rates.
