Thyroid cancer hemisection tgab and tg standards

Thyroid cancer hemisection tgab and tg standards

Thyroid cancer is a malignant tumor of the thyroid gland. The TGAB standard for hemisection of thyroid cancer should refer to the TG value of thyroid cancer patients. The standard value is usually 4%-6%, but it may be different in different hospitals, and the TGAB standard is slightly different. The TGAB standard refers to the thyroxine ratio of the risk of recurrence of thyroid cancer after surgery. If this value is between 4%-6%, it means that the patient has a high risk of recurrence.

TGAB is a thyroid-stimulating hormone secreted by thyroid follicular epithelial cells. This indicator can directly reflect the state of thyroid function. However, this indicator is not particularly accurate, and not all thyroid cancer patients will have an increase in this indicator. Therefore, it is necessary to combine other thyroid function indicators and neck ultrasound for comprehensive judgment.

For patients with thyroid cancer, especially all patients with thyroid cancer, most of them will have elevated T3 and T4 and low TSH. After surgery, because the thyroid tissue is not completely removed or medications such as levothyroxine sodium tablets are taken after surgery, T3 and T4 may be high and TSH may be low. Usually these two indicators can be used alone or at the same time to help determine the risk of recurrence after surgery.

For thyroid cancer patients, thyroglobulin and calcitonin levels need to be routinely monitored after surgery, and the next treatment plan should be decided based on the patient's specific condition. Patients are advised to eat a reasonable diet, exercise moderately, rest on time, avoid excessive stress, emotional excitement and other adverse factors, and go to the hospital for regular checkups.
