Age of onset of prostate cancer

Age of onset of prostate cancer

At present, various diseases emerge in an endless stream, and prostate cancer is one of them, which leads to many patients not being mentally prepared. my country is a country with a large population, and the number of people suffering from prostate cancer is also relatively large. Here I will tell you about the age of onset of prostate cancer, hoping to help you take preventive measures in time.

The incidence of prostate cancer is extremely high in European and American countries. It is a relatively common malignant tumor disease, and its mortality rate closely follows that of lung cancer. Although the incidence of prostate cancer is higher in the United States than in Asian countries, it has also shown an increasing trend in recent years, and we have to pay great attention to it.

In the early stages of prostate cancer, most patients do not show any abnormal symptoms due to the limitations of the tumor itself, and are basically only discovered during physical examinations. Of course, a few patients are accidentally discovered during prostate hyperplasia surgery.

In my country, prostate cancer has a clear trend of becoming younger, and the disease-prone population is generally middle-aged and elderly. As the number of aging population in my country continues to increase, the incidence rate is also increasing.

In 1990, the number of people suffering from prostate cancer in my country was four times that of 1960. By 2003, the incidence rate had ranked first among malignant tumors of the genitourinary system. At the same time, it ranked in the top ten among male malignant tumors. Some experts have pointed out that in ten years, the incidence rate of prostate cancer will rank among the top three among male malignant tumors. When it comes to the age of onset of prostate cancer, it basically occurs after the age of 50, and it is also a geriatric disease. In fact, the incidence rate of prostate cancer is also related to age. The older you are, the higher the incidence rate, mainly concentrated between 60 and 80 years old.

After the above brief introduction, everyone now knows that prostate cancer is one of the male malignant tumor diseases, and its incidence and mortality are very high. Although the incidence in my country is lower than that in Europe and the United States, we should not take it lightly and prevent the sudden attack of the disease.
