What are the sites of prostate cancer metastasis? Revealing the three metastasis pathways of prostate cancer

Patients with prostate cancer will experience symptoms of hematuria in the early stages of the disease, as well as varying degrees of frequent urination, urgency, and incontinence. There are many causes of prostate cancer, which are generally caused by genetic factors. Long-term uncoordinated sexual life or improper eating habits may induce prostate diseases and even malignant tumors. If prostate cancer patients are not properly treated in the early stages of the disease, it may even cause the risk of prostate cancer metastasis.

1. Direct spread. If patients with superficial cancer are not properly treated, the malignant tumor may even penetrate the local prostate capsule and spread to local tissues or organs or cause harm, which may cause symptoms of infection in nearby organs. Cancer cells may spread and metastasize to tissues such as the seminal vesicles, vas deferens, bladder, and pelvic wall tissues, which has a great impact on patients.

2. Lymphatic metastasis. Prostate cancer tumor cells will metastasize to lymph nodes along the lymphatic vessels, causing patients to experience lymph node enlargement and pain. It may also cause metastasis and spread to the retroperitoneal, mediastinal and supraclavicular lymph node tissues. If not properly treated, it will affect physical recovery.

3. Leading to blood type metastasis. Prostate cancer patients will metastasize to other parts or organs through blood circulation, which will have different degrees of impact on health. The most common is liver metastasis. Organs such as liver, brain, pleura, and adrenal glands will show obvious metastasis and spread of cancer cells. Some patients will suffer from lumbar pain or pelvic pain.

Prostate cancer is a relatively common disease. Patients will experience obvious pain and swelling in the prostate area. In the early stages of the disease, patients with prostate cancer will experience urination pain or a significant increase in nocturia, so treatment should be started early. Surgical removal of some lesions can alleviate the condition and avoid serious complications. While treating the disease, patients with prostate cancer should pay attention to dietary arrangements to improve the body's resistance to disease.
