Can knee popping heal itself?

Can knee popping heal itself?

We often find some phenomena during exercise, such as sound from the knees when walking or squatting. Some serious noises are very loud and the sound is very green. This is a common phenomenon and the reasons are quite complicated. People should judge according to their own situation and take it seriously and get checked and treated. It would be best if there is no problem, but can knee popping heal itself?

1. What is the reason for the knee to make a noise?

Knee popping is more common in the normal population. Because the knee joint is composed of three bones and surrounding muscles and ligaments, when it moves, at a certain movement or angle, the sliding of the ligaments and the collision between the bones will produce a popping sound.

If the snapping is simple and there is no pain, you don't need to worry too much, but if the snapping becomes more and more frequent and is accompanied by pain or noose symptoms, you need to see a doctor.

The clinical manifestations of knee joint diseases are relatively complex. The occurrence of noise and pain is likely to be caused by the following situations:

Knee arthritis

Knee arthritis is a disease based on degenerative pathological changes. It mostly affects middle-aged and elderly people, and its symptoms include redness, swelling and pain in the knees, pain when going up and down stairs, and knee soreness and discomfort when sitting, standing or walking. Some patients may also experience swelling, popping, fluid accumulation, etc. If not treated in time, it will cause joint deformity and disability.

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease caused by many factors such as aging, obesity, strain, trauma, congenital joint abnormalities, joint deformities, etc., which leads to degeneration of articular cartilage and reactive hyperplasia of joint margins and subchondral bone. The main symptom is joint pain, which often occurs in the morning. The pain is relieved after activity, but it can be aggravated by excessive activity. Another symptom is joint stiffness. Examination of the affected joints may reveal swelling and tenderness, and a friction or "clicking" sound during movement. In severe cases, muscle atrophy and joint deformities may occur.

2. Symptoms

(1) Initially, there is pain under the patella, which is obvious at the beginning of training and relieved after a little activity. It worsens after long-term training and gradually disappears after rest. As the disease progresses, the pain lasts longer than it is relieved, resulting in inability to squat, difficulty going up and down stairs, or sudden weakness and falling.

(2) Tenderness at the edge of the patella. Squeezing or pushing the patella in the extended knee position may cause a feeling of friction and pain. When the patellar cartilage is simply damaged and there is no joint effusion, when patellofemoral osteoarthritis is formed in the later stage, synovitis may occur and joint effusion may occur. At this time, the floating patella test is positive. Patients with a long course of illness may suffer from quadriceps atrophy.

(3) When the patellar cartilage surface is severely worn, an abnormal clicking sound may be felt.

3. What to eat if your knees are cracked and you are calcium deficient?

1. Small yellow croaker can be made into crispy fish. The method is: heat the pot, put green onion and ginger in the pot to form the bottom, put small yellow croaker about 10 cm long on it, add appropriate amount of vinegar and simmer it over low heat, even the fish head and fish bones will become crispy. In this way, the whole fish becomes an edible calcium supplement.

2. Pressure cooker chicken dumplings. You can cook the chicken and chicken bones as tender and crispy as possible, and encourage your baby to chew the cartilage and swallow it, which can also supplement calcium.

Of course, the above two kinds of food are not suitable for babies under 2 years old. After 2 and a half years old, most babies have grown 20 deciduous teeth and have the ability to chew. Only then can they be fed this kind of food, otherwise it will be difficult for babies to digest and absorb it.
