The degree of malignancy of prostate cancer can be assessed by histological grading. The most commonly used is the Gleason scoring system, which divides the malignancy of prostate cancer into 2 to 10 points based on the sum of the scores of the main structural area and the secondary structural area in the prostate cancer tissue. The best differentiation is 1+1=2 points, and the worst is 5+5=10 points.
