Nowadays, more and more male friends suffer from some male diseases because they do not pay attention to their living habits. One of the more serious ones is prostate cancer. If treatment measures are not taken in time, the life and health of patients will be threatened by the disease, and they may even die from it. So, what are the commonly used examinations for prostate cancer staging?

1. Biopsy: Biopsy is an important criterion for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Before local localization and distant metastasis, biopsy can only make a diagnosis when local sclerosis is performed. Biopsy is the most reliable examination method for the diagnosis of prostate cancer.

2. Rectal examination: It is an important basis for early diagnosis of prostate cancer. It can show non-smooth prostate capsule, hard texture of stone, and adhesion to surrounding tissues.

3. Prostate-specific acid phosphatase assay: Approximately 80% of patients with distant metastatic prostate cancer have increased acid phosphatase, and 20% of distant metastases are acidic.

4. Determination of serum prostate-specific antigen: Prostate-specific antigen is a tumor marker for prostate cancer, which is more sensitive than acid phosphatase. It is of great significance for the diagnosis, clinical staging, treatment observation, prognosis and recurrence monitoring of prostate cancer.

5. X-ray examination: including chest X-ray, pelvic, lumbar spine examination, etc., is an important screening method for early diagnosis of tumor metastasis, and can sometimes also be used for seminal vesicle angiography.

6. Ultrasound examination: During the B-ultrasound examination, the shape and displacement of the prostate can be seen, the envelope reflection is discontinuous and not smooth, and light clusters and dark areas appear inside the gland.

7. CT and MRI examinations: CT examinations have clear images, high resolution, are safe and painless, and can provide detailed information about the growth and metastasis of tumors. It is a very diagnostic examination method.

After the above introduction, I believe that all of you are clear about the examination methods for prostate cancer.
