Not only will it cause physical harm, but it will also cast a shadow on the man's psychology. Therefore, we must pay attention to men's health. If you suspect that you have cancer, you can do a diagnosis first. So, how to diagnose prostate cancer? Let us introduce it below.

1. Rectal examination

The prostate gland has stone-like hard nodules with unclear boundaries. The lumps vary in size, from a few millimeters to very large and fixed.

2. Symptoms

There may be no symptoms in the early stage, but in the late stage, obstructive symptoms similar to prostatic hyperplasia may appear. Due to the metastasis of the tumor to the bones, lumbar pain, sciatica, neurological paralysis, etc. may occur, accompanied by systemic symptoms such as weight loss, fatigue, and loss of appetite.

3. Prostate puncture aspiration biopsy can be used as a method to diagnose prostate disease, and the systematic biopsy six-point puncture method is often used.

4. Imaging examination

Ultrasound examinations reveal low-echo space-occupying lesions in the prostate. X-ray examinations reveal bone changes, increased density shadows, and osteolytic or mixed metastatic lesions; full chest radiographs can reveal lung metastases. CT and MRI scans can show prostate morphological changes, space-occupying lesions, and metastatic lesions. ECT can detect bone metastatic lesions earlier than X-rays.

5. Laboratory tests show that ACp and AKp increase when there is metastasis. pSA and pAp are of certain significance in diagnosing prostate cancer.
