What are the treatments for liver cancer? Eating two types of food frequently can easily induce liver cancer

Although liver cancer is not contagious, it can also threaten the health of patients with liver cancer. There are many causes of liver cancer in life, and people often ignore these carcinogenic factors because they are unaware of them.

Eating two types of food often can easily induce liver cancer:

① Do not eat moldy food

Aflatoxin in fungi is a carcinogen that can induce liver cancer in humans, monkeys, mice, and poultry. The shortest time required to cause cancer is 24 weeks. To prevent fungi from contaminating food, you should pay attention to the following:

1. Peanuts, corn, sweet potatoes, rice, millet, etc. stored at home must be dried thoroughly and stored in a dry and ventilated environment.

2. Moldy peanuts, dried potatoes, dried radishes, etc. should be discarded and cannot be eaten by humans, livestock or poultry.

3. Peanut oil and cottonseed oil should not be stored for a long time. When a large amount of grain, oil or dairy products are suspected to be contaminated with fungi, the quarantine station should be asked to check and they can only be distributed, sold or consumed after approval.

② Animal and vegetable oils that have a rancid smell should not be consumed

Stale oils contain a chemical component that can cause the structure of proteins to mutate, causing cells with mutated proteins to lose their normal functions and transform into early cancer cells. In addition, the replication of acids in some chemical components accelerates the aging process. Therefore, animal and vegetable oils should not be stored for too long, and oils that have deteriorated and have a rancid smell should not be eaten. Foods fried in rancid oils not only taste bad, but more importantly, they can cause cancer and shorten life.

Treatments for liver cancer

1. Surgical treatment. Surgical treatment is the traditional method for treating liver cancer. In recent years, due to the update and progress of early diagnosis, localization diagnosis, tumor biology and some concepts of liver cancer surgery, especially combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment, the effect of surgical treatment of liver cancer has been significantly improved.

2. Chemotherapy. Can advanced liver cancer be cured? 95% of liver cancer patients have lost the opportunity for surgery when diagnosed, and most liver cancer patients still rely on chemotherapy. In the past, chemotherapy for liver cancer was not highly evaluated, especially systemic administration, which had little effect. In recent years, the route of chemotherapy administration has been changed, and hepatic artery chemotherapy and embolization have been performed, which has significantly improved the chemotherapy effect of liver cancer. It is currently believed that catheter chemotherapy is better than systemic combined chemotherapy, and combined chemotherapy is better than single-drug chemotherapy. Hepatic artery catheter chemotherapy is considered to be the best treatment for patients with liver cancer who are not suitable for surgery.

3. Radiotherapy. In recent years, with the progress of research in radiation physics and radiation physiology, radiotherapy equipment has been developed, using cobalt 60 gamma rays or X-rays and high-energy rays from electron linear accelerators, and the irradiation methods and ranges for liver cancer have also been improved. From the original whole liver irradiation-local irradiation-whole liver mobile radiotherapy-surgical positioning local irradiation and hyperfractionated irradiation, the radiotherapy effect of liver cancer has been significantly improved, and the side effects have been reduced to the lowest level. It mainly includes external radiotherapy and internal radiotherapy.

4. Interventional radiology treatment.

The interventional radiology technique of percutaneous superselective hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy and embolization, which emerged in the 1980s and has developed rapidly, plays a vital role. Whether it is the treatment of early localized liver cancer or mid-to-late stage liver cancer, this interventional radiology technique is a decisive treatment method and is indispensable.
