Where to start preventing liver cancer? You should eat more of these to stay away from liver cancer

As our quality of life improves, our dietary structure has also changed greatly, resulting in many diseases. Liver cancer is naturally one of them. As liver cancer occurs more and more frequently, everyone has gradually understood the dangers of the disease. Therefore, we need to make relevant preventive preparations in advance. The following experts will introduce to you how to prevent liver cancer.

How to prevent liver cancer?

1. Start with diet:

Eat more steamed cauliflower. Steaming cauliflower for three or four minutes can greatly increase the efficacy of the anti-cancer substance "sulforaphane" contained in it. It should be noted that it cannot be heated in a microwave oven, otherwise the substance will be destroyed. This also needs more attention in the prevention of liver cancer. In addition, eating garlic regularly can also prevent liver cancer. The alliinase in garlic has anti-cancer effects. If the garlic is sliced and left in the air for 10 minutes before eating, the alliinase will play a more significant role in anti-liver cancer.

2. Hepatitis B vaccination:

Vaccination against hepatitis B is a common method of preventing liver cancer, because liver cancer often develops from hepatitis B. In China, 99 people out of every 100,000 people suffer from liver cancer, and the incidence rate in men is higher than that in women, about 3:1. This is largely because the incidence rate of hepatitis B in my country is quite high. The incidence rate here does not necessarily include patients hospitalized for hepatitis B, but includes a large number of hepatitis B "big three positives", "small three positives", and even "hepatitis B virus carriers" who have no symptoms. Hepatitis B and hepatitis C are the two major risk factors for liver cancer. This high-incidence area of hepatitis B in my country has therefore suffered from liver cancer.

3. Don’t drink alcohol:

Alcohol abuse is very harmful, especially for hepatitis B virus carriers. There are more male liver cancer patients than female liver cancer patients, with a male-to-female ratio of about 3 to 1. There are two reasons for this. On the one hand, the androgen receptor is related to the incidence of liver cancer, but the more important problem is that the proportion of male hepatitis B patients drinking alcohol is much higher than that of females. Alcohol is an important cause of hepatitis B cirrhosis. Studies have shown that for patients without hepatitis B, alcohol has little effect on liver damage, but for patients with hepatitis B, alcohol will cause obvious damage to the liver and is a major cause of cirrhosis.

Eat more of the following foods to stay away from liver cancer:

1. Eat carrots and citrus fruits: The protective effect of fruits and vegetables on the liver is mainly caused by the interaction between the vitamins, minerals, fibers, etc. in them. Green leafy vegetables, carrots, potatoes and citrus fruits have the strongest preventive effect. Dr. Dong Jing recommends eating five or more kinds of fruits and vegetables every day, including drinking a glass of juice in the morning, eating a piece of fruit in the morning and afternoon, and eating more than two servings of vegetables at dinner. The total daily intake is about 400-800 grams, which can reduce your risk of liver cancer by 20%.

2. Eating dairy products: If you eat dairy products every day, including milk and yogurt, your risk of liver cancer will be reduced by 78%. Children have already developed the habit of eating dairy products, but only a few adults do, so this can be improved.

3. Eat more "three shoots": The three shoots are bamboo shoots, lettuce and asparagus. Experts suggest that eating more of these three foods on a daily basis can reduce the incidence of liver cancer, and they are also delicious.
