How to prevent liver cancer? Liver cancer patients need to do these 4 steps

With the development of society and the improvement of people's living standards, the number of cancer patients is also on the rise under the influence of many factors. According to statistical analysis in recent years, liver cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in cities in my country, and its mortality rate ranks second among malignant tumors. The onset of liver cancer is often hidden, and once clinical symptoms appear and patients seek medical treatment, the course of the disease has mostly entered the middle and late stages. So how should we prevent liver cancer?

Step 1: Control your emotions

Emotions, work pressure, and especially a negative mentality have a great impact on the immune system, adding fuel to the fire. After learning that they have been infected with hepatitis, many people become fearful and depressed, lose their appetite all day, and touch their livers with their hands, sometimes for two or three hours, fearing that hepatitis will turn into cancer.

If this emotion persists for a long time, it will lead to a series of changes in nervous, endocrine and immune functions, which will significantly reduce the number of anti-cancer cells in the blood, and cancer will really occur.

Step 2: Avoid eating moldy food

The fungi that produce aflatoxin mainly grow in humid tropical and subtropical regions and can cause corn, peanuts and other grains to mold, so you should avoid eating these moldy foods.

Step 3: Vaccination

Vaccination is the most practical and effective method, mainly hepatitis B vaccine and hepatitis A vaccine. Studies have shown that universal hepatitis B vaccination can effectively reduce the hepatitis B virus surface antigen carrier rate from 10% to 1.3% after 10 years, and significantly reduce the incidence of liver cancer after 16 years.

Step 4: Do a B-ultrasound

Liver B-ultrasound is one of the most effective methods for early detection of liver cancer. Hepatitis patients should undergo a liver B-ultrasound examination once every six months when their condition is stable. In addition, young and middle-aged people who are under fatigue and stress should also include a liver B-ultrasound examination in their health check-ups.

Have you gained anything from reading so much? Next, experts will teach you a few ways to detect liver cancer early:

1. Pain in joints all over the body, especially in the waist and back, accompanied by anorexia, irritability, and discomfort in the liver area, and poor response to anti-rheumatic treatment.

2. Dry mouth, irritability, insomnia, gum and nasal bleeding, accompanied by upper abdominal distension and discomfort in the liver area.

3. A history of hepatitis and cirrhosis, with stable condition for many years, no chills or fever, but sudden dull or severe pain in the liver and gallbladder area

4. Recurrent diarrhea accompanied by indigestion and abdominal distension, with ineffective or incurable treatment for gastroenteritis, dull pain in the liver area, and gradual weight loss.

5. In patients over 30 years old, a lump can be felt in the right upper abdomen and epigastric region. The lump is hard in texture and has an uneven surface. It shows an obvious tendency to increase in size with continuous observation, but the patient has no obvious discomfort.

6. People with a family history of tumors, especially those with a close relative history of liver cancer, have a relatively higher risk of developing liver cancer and should undergo regular physical examinations.
