What are the early symptoms of cervical cancer? What are the early manifestations of cervical cancer?

What are the early symptoms of cervical cancer? Cervical cancer is a common disease. Once we get cervical cancer, we must treat it as soon as possible, otherwise it will cause serious consequences. So, what are the early symptoms of cervical cancer? Let's listen to the advice of experts.

There are no obvious symptoms or special signs in the early stage of cervical cancer. The earliest symptom is vaginal bleeding, usually a small amount of contact bleeding. Intermittent bleeding or increased leucorrhea after menopause, with a bloody or purulent odor. In the late stage, there may be heavy bleeding, malignant lesions, weight loss, fever, anemia, and peripheral compression symptoms caused by cancer invasion, such as lower abdominal pain, back pain, frequent urination, urgency, anal swelling, tenesmus, lower limb swelling and pain, sciatica, etc.

Similarly, it is difficult to see abnormalities in the early stage when the cervix is directly observed with a speculum. When the lesions are obvious, local lesions may appear as erosions, ulcers, cauliflower growths, nodules, cavities, or even endogenous depressions. After the endocervical canal is scraped, pathological examination can confirm the diagnosis. The main ways of metastasis of cervical cancer are direct invasion and lymphatic metastasis, and blood metastasis is less common, and it often occurs in the late stage.

What are the early symptoms of cervical cancer?

Vaginal bleeding: Young patients often experience contact bleeding, which occurs during sexual intercourse, gynecological examinations, and after bowel movements. The amount of bleeding can be more or less, and generally depends on the size of the lesion, which invades the interstitial blood vessels. Early bleeding is less, while late lesions are larger. Once large blood vessels are eroded, fatal bleeding can occur. Young patients may also experience prolonged menstruation, shortened cycles, increased menstruation, etc. Older patients often complain of irregular vaginal bleeding after menopause.

Vaginal discharge: Patients often complain of increased vaginal discharge, which is white or bloody, thin like water or rice soup, and has a fishy smell. In the late stage, due to the rupture of cancerous tissue, tissue necrosis, secondary infection, etc., a large amount of purulent or rice soup-like foul-smelling leucorrhea is discharged.

Symptoms of advanced cancer: Depending on the scope of secondary symptoms, the lesions affect the pelvic connective tissue, pelvic wall, compression of the ureter or rectum, sciatic nerve, frequent urination, urgency, anal swelling, constipation, urgency, swelling and pain in the lower limbs, etc., severely leading to ureteral obstruction, hydronephrosis, and eventually leading to uremia. At the end of the disease, the patient may become emaciated, anemic, feverish, and systemic failure.

Early manifestations of cervical cancer

1. The early symptoms of cervical cancer are mainly limited to the cervix, and cervical cancer patients often have no symptoms until it spreads to other surrounding tissues.

2. Many cervical cancer patients have different conditions and degrees of increased leucorrhea, like water or rice water, with a fishy smell. This is one of the early symptoms of cervical cancer.

3. The early symptoms of cervical cancer are usually a small amount of bleeding after sexual intercourse or irregular menstruation or vaginal bleeding after menopause. At this time, during a gynecological examination, patients with cervical cancer will find that the surface of the cervix is smooth or eroded, hard, and easy to bleed.

4. With the development of cervical cancer and the gradual increase of tumors, the patient's vaginal discharge increases. If the cancerous tissue is necrotic and infected, more foul-smelling vaginal discharge mixed with blood will be discharged; the late stage of cervical cancer symptoms increase the amount of bleeding, and even fatal bleeding due to erosion of large blood vessels. Local tumors of cervical cancer can be cauliflower-like, nodular or ulcerated, and become hollow after tumor necrosis and shedding.
