What are the causes of liver cancer? To prevent liver cancer, eat less of these foods

Liver cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in my country, and its mortality rate ranks third among malignant tumors of the digestive system. Do you know how to prevent liver cancer?

About 110,000 people die from liver cancer in my country every year, accounting for 45% of the world's liver cancer deaths. This is a very pessimistic figure. Therefore, we must pay attention to preventing liver cancer in our daily lives. So how should liver cancer be prevented?

How to prevent liver cancer

1. Do not eat too much salty and spicy food, and do not eat overheated, too cold, expired or spoiled food; the elderly and weak or those with a genetic disease should eat some anti-cancer food as appropriate and maintain a good mental state.

2. Have a good attitude to deal with stress, combine work and rest, and avoid excessive fatigue. It can be seen that stress is an important cause of cancer.

3. Strengthen physical exercise and improve physical fitness.

4. Life should be regular. People with irregular living habits, such as singing karaoke, playing mahjong, and staying out all night, are prone to cancer.

5. Do not eat contaminated food, such as contaminated water, crops, poultry, fish eggs, moldy food, etc. Eat some green organic food to prevent diseases from entering the body through the mouth.

6. Develop good living habits, quit smoking and limit alcohol consumption. The World Health Organization predicts that if people stop smoking, the number of cancer cases in the world will be reduced by 1/3 in 5 years. Secondly, do not drink alcohol excessively.

Causes of liver cancer

(1) Viral hepatitis: About 31% of patients with primary liver cancer have chronic hepatitis. The positive rate of hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBSAg) in the main liver cancer incidence area is higher than that in the low incidence area, and the positive rate of serum HBSAg and other hepatitis B markers in liver cancer patients can reach 90%, which is significantly higher than that in healthy people, indicating that hepatitis B virus infection is related to liver cancer. Recently, it has been found that it is closely related to the occurrence of hepatitis C.

(2) Liver cirrhosis: 50% to 90% of patients with primary liver cancer have liver cirrhosis. In my country, most cases are caused by hepatitis B or C. In Europe and the United States, liver cancer often occurs on the basis of alcoholic liver cirrhosis. It is generally believed that schistosomiasis liver fibrosis, biliary and hemorrhagic cirrhosis are not related to the occurrence of primary liver cancer.

(3) Aflatoxin: Animal experiments have shown that eating moldy corn, peanuts, soybeans, rapeseed oil, etc. contaminated with aflatoxin can cause cancer. This is because aflatoxin B1, a metabolite of aflatoxin, has a strong carcinogenic effect.

(4) Drinking water pollution: Drinking water, especially surface water, is often polluted by organic carcinogens (such as hexachlorobenzene, benzopyrene, polychlorinated biphenyls, etc.). According to a report from Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, a high-incidence area for liver cancer, there is a significant difference in the mortality rate of liver cancer between residents who drink ditch and pond water and those who drink well water, and the incidence rate is higher among those who drink surface water. In recent years, it has been discovered that blue-green algae growing in ponds are strong carcinogenic plants that can pollute water sources.

(5) Other chemical carcinogens: Some chemicals such as nitrosamines, azo mustards, alcohol, organochlorine pesticides, etc. are carcinogens of liver cancer.

(6) Parasites: Some people believe that infection with Clonorchis sinensis in the hepatic bile ducts can lead to liver cancer.
