How to treat breast cancer? Teach you 8 methods to treat breast cancer

Breast cancer has always been a problem that women need to pay great attention to. Do you know the treatment methods for breast cancer? Let's take a look.

As a malignant tumor with a high incidence rate, breast cancer has a mature clinical treatment method. Many patients have controlled their disease and improved their quality of life through formal and long-term treatment.

The three most common breast cancer treatments

1. Surgery

On the basis of maintaining the breast, the lesion is removed and the surrounding lymph nodes are cleaned to control the growth and proliferation of cancer cells. Common surgeries in clinical practice include classic radical surgery, modified radical surgery, simple mastectomy and partial mastectomy.

2. Radiation therapy

Compared with surgery, there are fewer restrictions on factors such as anatomy and patient physique, but the effect of radiotherapy is affected by the biological effects of radiation and has radiation to the human body. Currently commonly used radiotherapy facilities cannot completely kill cancer cells and the effect is worse than surgery. Therefore, it is rarely used clinically for curable breast cancer. Radiotherapy is mainly used for comprehensive treatment, including adjuvant therapy before and after radical treatment and palliative treatment of advanced breast cancer.

3. Chemotherapy

When a breast lump is clinically palpable, it is usually a systemic disease that can have a small metastatic site at a distant site. The goal of systemic chemotherapy is to eradicate any remaining tumor cells in the body and improve the cure rate of surgery.

Lifestyle habits to prevent breast cancer

1. Get more sleep

Night workers are more likely to develop breast cancer than daytime workers because the secretion of melatonin and cortisol is disturbed. Melatonin can inhibit the secretion of estrogen, and cortisol can promote the metabolism of anti-cancer cells. Experts recommend that the best rest time is from 10 pm to 6 am.

2. Exercise appropriately

Life is about exercise. Getting enough exercise at the gym, in the park or at home can reduce your risk of breast cancer.

3. Stay away from alcohol

Moderate drinking, especially red wine, is good for health. But if you drink too much, the risk of breast cancer after menopause will increase. It is recommended to drink no more than 2 glasses of alcohol per week.

4. Add a small amount of turmeric when cooking

Turmeric can regulate the conversion of estrogen and help eliminate carcinogens in the body. Adding 1/4 or 1/3 teaspoon of turmeric when cooking can inhibit the increase of estrogen.

5. Avoid high-fat and high-calorie diets

According to the Cancer Society, one-third of the world's cancer deaths come from unhealthy eating habits. In life, we should pay attention to avoid long-term intake of high-fat and high-calorie foods. Eat more vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage and other cruciferous vegetables, preferably more than four times a week; it is best to eat more grains, beans, seaweed and some iodine foods such as kelp and fungi.

6. Drink green tea regularly

Green tea has the special effect of detoxification and anti-inflammation, and can also prevent many cancers and breast cancer. In order to achieve the desired effect, we need to drink about 5 cups of green tea a day.

7. Don’t abuse health supplements

Many women are concerned about their youth and often take health products for beauty, but some health products may contain estrogen, and long-term use can easily lead to estrogen imbalance, which can easily lead to breast cancer. Health products should be taken under the guidance of a doctor.

8. Wear the right underwear

It is best to wear a suitable bra with a steel support and cup. The steel support can properly lift sagging breasts and play a good protective role; the bra cup should be consistent with the shape of the breasts; the fabric inside the bra should be pure cotton. It is best not to wear a bra to sleep. According to statistics, women who wear bras at night are more likely to develop breast cancer than women who only wear bras during the day.
