According to statistics, more than 95% of women suffer from at least one gynecological disease. Cervical cancer, as a cancer with a long incubation period and low survival rate, has always threatened women's lives. In recent years, the incidence of cervical cancer has increased year by year, and the age of onset has decreased year by year, making it the second most common female cancer in China. According to the latest data in 2009, there are 130,000 new cases of cervical cancer in China every year, and 1/3 of cervical cancer patients are under 35 years old. The onset age of urban women is earlier than that of rural women. What behaviors are likely to lead to cervical cancer? 1. Improper sexual contraceptive measures Poor sexual life or failure to take contraceptive measures are important causes of multiple pregnancies and repeated induced abortions. A few minutes after miscarriage, there are risks of excessive bleeding, uterine perforation, organ damage, and amniotic fluid embolism. Abortion can also easily cause infection, resulting in symptoms such as chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. If it is repeated abortion, the long-term impact on women is even more irreversible. The incidence of complications is 34.62% higher than that of ordinary people, causing endocrine system disorders, irregular menstruation, and even long-term damage to fertility, leading to secondary infertility. 2. Not paying attention to hygiene during sex There are three reasons why unclean sexual life leads to cervical disease in women: First, mechanical collision. Sexual life damages cervical tissue and destroys the integrity of normal epithelium. If there is inflammation, it is easy to erode. Second, chemical damage. If you don’t pay attention to hygiene, it is easy for men’s penis foreskin to produce smegma, which is a strong carcinogen produced by foreskin sebum mixed with urine, which can induce cervical cancer. Third, virus invasion. It has been confirmed that human papillomavirus (HpV) is the culprit of cervical cancer. A husband with HPV can increase his wife's risk of cervical infection by 9 times. In addition, sexually transmitted diseases such as gonococci, viruses, herpes simplex virus, chlamydia or mycoplasma can also cause cervical damage. 3. Sexual indulgence or premature Early sexual activity usually refers to before the age of 16. The reproductive tract of adolescents is immature, the vulva and vagina are very delicate, the short vagina has weak surface tissue, and sexual intercourse can cause severe tears in the hymen, vaginal cracks, and heavy bleeding, but it can also bring some pathogenic microorganisms or dirt into the vagina to varying degrees. Women's own defense function is poor, which can easily cause infection. In addition, since women's ovaries begin to ovulate after menstruation, if effective contraceptive measures are not taken during sexual intercourse, they are likely to become pregnant. Once pregnant, they must have an artificial abortion, which may cause a series of complications such as infection, bleeding, uterine perforation, habitual abortion after marriage, and infertility. There is a consensus in the medical community on the relationship between human papillomavirus (HpV) infection and cervical cancer. Sexual contact is the main route of transmission, and multiple sexual partners undoubtedly greatly increase the incidence of HPV cervical cancer. Because the cervical epithelium is immature, starting sexual life too early is more likely to cause illness due to poor disease resistance. Don't delay treatment of cervical cancer The cure rate of cervical cancer is very high, and it is slow from the early stage to the middle and late stage, but it is cancer after all, and you cannot relax your vigilance, especially once it is discovered, you cannot delay. The earlier the treatment, the greater the possibility of recovery. After the cancer is discovered, if you are particularly busy at work and do not have the necessary rest, it will reduce immunity and aggravate the cancer. Now, because many women have a strong sense of health, cervical cancer can usually be detected in the early stage, so that it can be treated early. In the central and western regions, due to the limitations of economic development, many women have no awareness of physical examinations, and cervical cancer is often discovered in the late stage, with a relatively high mortality rate. This also reminds most women to establish a health awareness of regular physical examinations and early treatment. |
