Everyone may be familiar with thyroid cancer. Because of this, many people do not take it seriously, which makes the condition more serious. Therefore, if you find that your body is abnormal, you must seek treatment in time. So, let's learn about what stage 1 thyroid cancer is!

Thyroid cancer is a common malignant tumor of the head and neck, and is more common in female patients. Its cause has yet to be determined, but according to clinical observations, radiation and epidemic thyroid tumors are important pathogenic factors.

Thyroid cancer includes papillary carcinoma, follicular cell carcinoma, undifferentiated carcinoma, parafollicular cell carcinoma, thyroid lymphoma, etc. The main symptoms of thyroid cancer are as follows:

Symptoms of thyroid cancer 1. In the early stage, patients have symptoms of neck swelling and local tumors, and the surface of the tumor is uneven, fixed and hard. As the disease progresses, the tumor will grow larger and compress the trachea, causing difficulty breathing, hoarseness, a sense of obstruction when swallowing, or swelling of nearby lymph glands.

Symptoms of thyroid cancer 2. Papillary carcinoma growth. Generally speaking, there are few symptoms except for thyroid nodules and some lymph nodes. When the tumor is small and located deep in the thyroid gland, it is generally difficult to find. Follicular cell carcinoma manifests as nodular thyroid swelling, which is more common with single nodules. It is hard as stone and can involve the entire lobe of the thyroid gland. In the later stage, there will be corrosion of nearby tissues, pain and distant metastasis. Follicular cell carcinoma and its metastatic lesions have the function of iodine uptake, which can occasionally cause hyperthyroidism.

Symptoms of thyroid cancer 3. Undifferentiated cancer manifests as enlarged and painful thyroid masses. It erodes adjacent tissues and can cause hoarseness, respiratory distress and dysphagia. The masses are often tender, hard as a rock, adherent and fixed to surrounding tissues, with enlarged local lymph nodes and distant metastasis.

Thyroid cancer is generally treated with surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and endocrine therapy. It has now evolved from relying on a single treatment to a combination of multiple methods, especially the combination of Chinese and Western medicine to treat thyroid cancer. Some people will also have diarrhea, especially at certain times we have to pay attention to ourselves, our situations are different at times, we also have our own ideas, especially at certain times our situations are different, we have to pay more attention.
