1. Local metastasis <br/>Thyroid cancer progresses rapidly. Even in the early stages of the disease, local tumor tissue can metastasize through the cervical lymph nodes or enter adjacent organs. In particular, papillary carcinoma and medullary carcinoma are more malignant and can metastasize to the cervical lymph nodes in the early stages, accompanied by symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes.
2. Distant metastasis <br/>The rate of distant metastasis of thyroid cancer can reach about 50%~85%. Among them, 65% of the cases are metastasis to the lymph nodes in the neck. When the disease is serious, the local lymph node tissue can be transferred to other organs and tissues such as the lungs, liver, pelvis, and skull through the blood.
3. Other associated symptoms <br/>Thyroid cancer is mainly characterized by hoarseness, difficulty swallowing, and difficulty breathing. When the symptoms are severe, they may be accompanied by diarrhea, which is easy to be ignored.
